They need to do something.

I think if they cannot get Cowher you promote Garrett to HC, promote Grantham (who has significant experience in the 3-4) , and Wilson to OC/QB coach.

capers is in New england...How or why would he come here?

Why dont we just hire bill bellichick......geez.

I dont believe the guys on this defense respect any of the coaches. They just have to tolerate them.

Last year this team had coaches they loved and played hard for...

The secondary had todd bowles who newman, henry and williams loved and were willing to go out and play hard for. Even then the results were a mixed bag. Now we have campo and I dont think the players give one iota what he thinks. Putting him in a higher position would be cause for mutiny.

The linebackers had pasqualoni. Ware, bradie, burnett etc...they all loved pasqualoni and he had their respect. Now. Nothing. Those guys all look lost waiting for someone to snap them out of it.

The line, they all came in with kacy rodgers and parcells heavy hand on the defensive line. These guys came in and learned from glover and ferguson. In 2005 we had Glover, Ferguson, Coleman, canty, spears and ratliff. What a great group. Plus ellis was playing down on the nickel. and on the end for the most part until he lost playing time to spears.

I think that all adds up to bad results. Average talent, coupled with a lousy attitude, coupled with lesser coaches coupled with tank johnson and pacman jones being put on the team and becoming the voices of the team and then most importantly everyone answering to Jerry directly.

The season is tanked. The only things that can happen have to take place in the offseason.

Theebs, isn't Capers a position coach/special assistant? If so, he could come here as Garrett's DC and I think the guy would consider it. JMO.

We can't afford to go another day with Wade as the HC. This team is done for the year unless drastic measures are taken. Here's what I'd do:

-Fire Wade and promote JG, who should only take the job with pre-conditions built into his contract similar to what BP had. I don't know all the specifics but I believe that BP had total control over his staff. This, to me, would send a clear message to both the current and remaining staff as well as the players. They're playing for JG and their jobs are on the line.

-Second, I'd keep Stewart. We have no choice. But, moreso, what do we lose? How much worse can it get? The guy's a young coordinator who's paying the price for his HC's lack of leadership and spine.

In the long run, we give JG 10 games to see how the team responds, as well as an opportunity to let him evaluate who he might fire or retain at the end of the season.

You lost me here. Stewart appears to be just a fathead occupying a sideline spot for Wade. Get rid of Wade and Stewart.

If you don't want to promote Campo then lure Capers over to become a DC again.

Do it yesterday.

The only thing that could happen with Wade being fired, right now, is that you could promote Garrett in an interm basis, like Hasslet, and see what he's capable of as the HC. Then if things stay the same, or get progressively worse, then you can move on in the offseason by finding yourself another HC.

Now I'm not saying this should happen, or that I'm in favor of it happening, but that is really the only thing I could see happening if Wade were to be fired.

And of course he could always simply resign cause he doesn't care to deal with all the BS of being the HC of the Cowboys and their media circus but I'd be really surprised if Wade did something like that.

Campo shouldn't be anywhere near this team, what a joke to hire that loser back into this organization.

I will give him credit where credit is due, he was a good DC. Wanny was too, So was Butch Davis.

even if we were to "tank" the season, it wouldn't do us much good seeing as we don't have a 1st rounder next year to look forward to

we got our 1st pick early this year ....RW11 ...and i for one am happy with it.......its like Christmas in October

The defense has been suspect a long time. Pasqualoni was awful with the TE and outside of Ware its not like the talent was developing there. Bowles was good? i guess you forgot all the deep plays his secondary gave up.

Oh and now its Pacman's fault. Id rather have him out there over Henry thats for sure.

Are you really going to place the blame on Jones every time something goes wrong. Thats just show a poor imagination.

I bet the NASCAR guy would have gone after Tom Landry in 1970 or 1971 and tried to get him fired.

I'd rather have Henry any day over over a thug we can't depend on to even make it to the game.

Oh so now its Jerry coaching? Yeah thats really credible....

Just like the fake moon missions, the coverup at area 52 and the WH planning 9/11.

Last time I checked we were in the situation we would have been in had we not had Pacman at all and it didn't look too good did it.

The defense has 16 passes defensed. Pacman has 11 of them.

But hey you need your boogeyman so keep at it. You keep being afraid of ghosts.

I agree Fuz. I would prefer AJ over Henry. You can argue Pac was playing better than anyone in that secondary when he was out there. He is a baller. How many pass deflections did he have? I don't know how many near ints he had. Henry doesn't even get near the ball anymore.

People forget that these guys are human beings, just like we are.

Unlike you and fuzzylumps I'd rather have a player that doesn't get suspended, but I understand some people don't feel that way.

Fire Wade

Promote Garrett and let him decide who stays and who goes on the coaching staff.

If he wants Stewart ...... keep him.

If he wants to promote Campo do it.

But Wade has lost this team .....
