Zrinkill, you missed Johnson, Davis, Nguyen (retired, but were you talking about last year?), Polite/Crayton, and Adams. That's at least 4-5 more, and Crayton and Polite are interchangable, since we go 3 wide so often.

Yeah, you're right about Davis, but still, Johnson, Adams, and Crayton/Polite.

Adams did not start most of last year .... so I did not count him .... same as Dat

I'm sorry but I have to agree with the Commander about 3rd wide recievers ....... I dont consider them starters

I can't tell anymore if we're talking about last year, or this upcoming year. :laugh2:

Well, that's why I listed Crayton/Polite. You have to pick one or the other. We drafted them both, and if we're not running 3 wide, which is our most prominent formation, we're running the I with Politte out there. So, it's one or the other, or both. Parcells himself said the term "starter" is used loosely on his team - there can be 14-15 "starters" on either side of the ball.

That is Parcells trying to save some of his favorite players ego .......

Either way the Cowboys had almost twice the amount of drafted starters last year than the Commanders ....

So you guys win your argument with the Commander fan. ;) as it should be.

i appreciate your nice words in the other thread, but i have to point out that this debate was only in bigD's mind.

i never said that the skins didnt have more FA's starting than dallas. i only said that dallas had FA's at 'most' offensive positons. (although just 2 years ago, dallas did have fewer draft picks on the team and in the NFL in general, according to the link)

it was never about who had more. bigD fan tried to make it that way- that was about the time he went completely insane with the whole bizarro 'starter list' incident- but the posts speak for themselves.

I still don't understand how 4 (maybe 5, depending on Kosier) out of 11 qualifies as "most". Maybe my math skills aren't so good, but wouldn't there need to be 6 or more to qualify as most?

And it still escapes me how 4 (3 if Singleton goes) out of 11 on defense qualifies as a "bunch".

Maybe these terms mean something else in Redskskin land?:laugh1:

your skills are the ones in question.

big D (eventually) posted 5 players that were drafted offensive starters-although ther are at least 3 different lists posted by 3 posters. big D didnt include pettiti on his first list, zrin corrected it, but left off johnson.

i thought you boys fans were supposed to know what you were talking about when it comes to your own team. you cant even figure out who your drafted starters are. 3 posters, 3 different answers. beautiful.

6 FA's out of 11 positions. you do that math.

4 out of 11, since i didnt use the term 'most', is a 'bunch'.

Hey, amazing....a video of Kosier getting worked by a player who's no longer even on the Commanders.....in the third game of Kosier's rookie season....in a game the Commanders lost, 4 years ago.

How wonderfully irrelevant.
