I see the Colts salivating and paying Murray big personally. He's the missing piece on offense
Sounded like that to me to. No bitterness once so ever.
He didn't sound bitter to me either, just like a guy resigned to leaving.
Sounds to me like they've already told him they're going to let him test the market and that they've got a limited allocation for his position, and he's going to get the data and then decide what's most important to him. And I'd bet his decision isn't purely financial, too. Though it's probably mostly financial. He's only back in Dallas if the market for him is soft, overall. And it probably won't be.
Sounds like a guy who thinks he's going to another team.

Yes..
the Cowboy offer is low.
But with valid reason.
The belief is not that he isn't a good running back and sets a tone that defines the team work ethic.
Its that in his 4 year career..
he hasn't really produced until the OL was rebuilt.
Now its rebuilt and he's leaving for greener pastures?
Has he got a wake up call coming.?
You bet.
DeMarco is a great RB, however his fumbles are in question.
The fumbles have ZERO to do with his resigning. It's strictly a $ issue. Murray his highly regarded in the Organization. If he didn't have those fumbles, I could see JJ raising the offer that has already been made to him. That said, good dude, great player, wish we could afford him but I see him walking. The fumbles just make his price tag too steep.
There's also the whole tax issue.I bet Murray can make more from promotions as a Dallas Cowboy than he can in salary and promotions anywhere else. Not arguing that he should stay for less money. Just guessing.
