how do you know they did anything different the past 3-4 weeks in practice?

with Romo playing (see StL) the boys are talented enough to regularly beat bad teams (SF, SEA). Even with coach cupcake.

obviously any objective cowboy fan (not wearing silver/blue goggles) would want the boys having good practices - especially with 10 days between games - with a very difficult 4 games coming up. it's not like we play crisp, mistake-free, smart football with regularity.

Good Lord. Every team rests its vets this time of year. They are not practicing hard and won't be the rest of the year. They don't need to. They went thru the meetings, the walk thrus, the video afterwards and will likely study more. They don't need to do anything else.

This is a nothing. Go back to your video games or whatever else you do.

My big gripe is that not only the DFW media, but also 1/2 of Zoners here(I won't name, but you know who you are) are going to saying this is all TO's fault that vets are getting the day off, Wade is supposedly running complacent practices this week, etc.

Why would anybody blame it on T.O.?

I can't believe any of this is actually going on. They win 3 relatively easy games and they are back to their "we'll just show up and win" mode. If ever they needed to be taking practice seriously, its now. What are they doing, goofing off and entertaining sponsors inside the bubble when they are getting ready to play the toughest team in the NFL in 20 degree weather. I had a good feeling about the game, but not now. Starters having the day off, circus atmosphere, practicing inside, and having music and sponsors there? Unbelievable. They are going to get blown out in Pittsburg!!!

You guys are crackin me up.

and if the Cowboys don't look spunky and fresh sunday, that's Wade's fault for not resting them right?

I've got a total and complete feeling of dread for this game. I'd LOVE to be wrong but.......every sign is pointing toward a beat down by the team I hate most in the NFL. yeeeesh..............ps: practicing in a dome when you're going to play on the worst field in the worst weather of the season is.....................not bright.

Why are you guys taking the bait of the Dallas media. Someone on the 1st page posted a blog by a columnist who said they did this same thing during the 3 game win streak so why is this even up for discussion? You guys take the bait everytime while the Dallas media laughs at you. Just stay composed and get ready for Sunday. Its going to be a good one. While our vets were sitting out Roethlisberger was busy tweaking his new. Meanwhile Steelers fans are upset at Tomlin for taking it too hard on the guys. I guess a coach can't win in this situation.

Oh, good. So if we win, it was obvious it was the right decision and if we lose it's obvious it was a poor decision.

That makes sense.

It depends how we lose.

If we lose sloppy and looking unmotivated, then I think that's fair.
