Washington didn't ruin him. He is a gimmick QB and was only good in a gimmicky offense. He can't read a Defense, he can't be a pocket passer and he can't run without getting injured.. he is a waste of space on a football team. Like i said, if you want to dislike Romo, fine, but at least replace him with a half way decent football player nto some bum like RG3. I would take Weeden back before i would even consider that lost cause.

Weeden back?

I rather have Kaep before Weeden

Give the Cowboys more options in the draft .

That's the worse thing that could happen is signing Manziel or RGIII and thinking our QB situation is solved.

What does Manziel have to do to get off our radar (in fans eyes)?? I mean the dude has absolutely nothing right since he joined the league and refuses shake his addictions no matter how many chances he's been given.

Manziel hasn't shown half the ability RGIII showed 4 years ago. I'd kick the tires on RGIII to determine if I think he is ready to put in the work to develop into a starter.

If I was Cleveland, no way I spend another top draft pick on a QB, especially in a year when neither of the top guys are considered ready for the NFL. If I'm the Cleveland GM, I keep Johnny Football for now as he was the best QB on my roster this year, and I try to bring in Chip Kelly as my next coach. All the talk about Chip and Tennessee overlooks the natural fit between Kelly and Johnny.

I'd give a 4th. But nothing higher.

We need to bring him or Rg3 in and wash our hands of Romo.

The run was fun

I mean, other than beautiful stats, what has Romo done? Besides break his collar bone more than once, use to be the interception master, and going to the playoffs and getting eliminated?

Maybe you have not been keeping up with current events, but this team is 1-11 without Romo.

So if we get rid of Romo, you will not have to worry about getting eliminated in the playoffs ever again because we will be picking in the top 5 every year from here on out.

What have you seen this year that makes you think Garrett and company can put together a game plan to beat anybody if Romo is not on the field changing the plays?

So if the choices are to get eliminated in the playoffs with Romo or be in contention for the top pick every single year, I think I would rather go with Romo. At least that way I get to see what a playoff game actually looks like. If I want to be picking in the top 5 every year, I would go be a Titans fan.

But maybe that is just me.

Garrett? He needs to be the first loser out the door.

The mentality of trying to give him the benefit of the doubt when he's clearly got a serious addict problem is something else I can't understand. Why people keep coming up with excuses for him (not saying you are) is beyond me.

That's like saying he shows up to team meetings drunk, parties using alcohol when he's supposed to be rehabbing, misses doctor appointments and flies cross country to party on game day...all in order to get cut in a league that is so cut throat, what an immense risk!

Anyone who would be willing to take that chance is beyond stupid and is not of the mental make up needed to be a backup QB in today's NFL.

Well it is possible he is a moronic addict, but really it all seems too much for even him.
he made sure it was video taped and posted online, and missing meetings or showing up drunk is so out there,
I have to think maybe it is on purpose.

Apparently Goose wrote this before Johnny Moron 'allegedly' wore a costume in Vegas so he could mask his partying.

Nobody's going to trade anything of value for this guy. If CLE gets a 7th rounder for him, they should consider themselves lucky. If he partied hard in Cleveland, imagine what it's going to be like when he's back in his old stomping grounds.

7th rounder sounds good !!!
