It's always good hearing the true thoughts of a future HOFer at a most interesting and critical juncture for the team. He was in the thick of things. Great to hear his perspective. My popcorn is always ready.

I watched NFL Total Access last night and this has been taken way out of context.

First and foremost, they coaxed T.O. into saying that Orton gave them a better shot. And what he was trying to say was that with Orton being in the lineup, its unexpected which can work to the Cowboys advantage as the Eagles can't necessarily prepare for him. But he stated that if its a shootout or the Cowboys are down by 14, its over as Orton is a game manager and can't put up points very quickly. When T.O. said "Romo can put up points very quickly" Deion said "For which team?" and they all started laughing. They were clearly trying to poke fun at Romo with the entire segment and T.O. was actually trying to avoid it. Darren Sharper as well.

They made a poll saying "Are the Cowboys better off without Romo"? Why on earth would you even make that poll? Would they have made a poll saying "Are the Saints better off with Drew Brees?" They used this segment to poke fun and it wasn't cool especially since the host has constantly been a Romo defender throughout the season.

We may actually see a screen pass or two this Sunday with Orton. If so, then we will know that it is Romo who is not good at screens.

For some unexplained reason, the Cowboys seem allergic to screen passes. Not only on offense but defense too. The Cowboy defense seems to want no part of screens either.

Well, one thing we do know--the Eagles have no problems running screens. I hope the defense is prepared for a heavy dose of screens to McCoy and Brown.

With Lee it seemed screens were not prob for this D (for the most part). Definitely need a presence @ LB to keep contain and to not over pursue...and one of the few times it pays not to have speedy pass rushers racing up the field. Our average talent should be right around the line

I honestly couldn't care less what you "buy", lol. Why would i lie about seeing Reed play football? I enjoyed watching Thomas much more than Reed to be honest, but i considered both very good players growing up.

Simply put.. Owens is better. I don't know how many more ways there are to say that. He's not the best ever maybe, but then again i never said he was. He's certainly up there on the list though.. despite how much of his personality you hate.

You guys are crazy if you don't think Orton can put up points on the Eagles defense. That secondary is Swiss Cheese back there. They let Matt Cassell and old Greg Jennings abuse them bad a few weeks ago. They have a pretty good pass rush at times but if thet o-line protects Orton I guarantee you he puts up over 300 yds passing. The real concern will be what they do when they get in the Redzone. Playcalling will be very important inside the Redzone this week because I don't think Orton will change plays like Tony does.

Our defense is worse than Eagles defense, sure Orton and the offense can put up some points but I'm afraid Eagles offense can put up lot more points than our offense.
