Visiting a city does not make you an expert on saying it is a crappy city.
How long were you actually there?

I grew up just North of there and also lived there for a while. It, as any city has it's good and bad. I have visted many other cities, and my impressions are that "they suck" but won't say it, because I was only there for a short time, good or bad experiences. So I can't give an actual opinion of them.
