DMN: Watkins: Bengals pleased with ex-Dallas Cowboys safety Williams' workout

Yeah, that hideous Bengals uniform is hard to take.

Here's wishing Roy the best.

Maybe his unceremonious exit from Dallas will wake Roy up and help him play with some fire, as he once did. It'd be nice for him to end his career on a high note - playing well and earning respect.
Yep, I agree 100%.

There are some teams I would not play for. Cincy is one of them. I would not put on those drag queen stripes.

I would, with lip stick on if need be.

Same here. The Browns are notoriously cheap. It is a 2nd class organization.

 So you wouldn't even want to be in the same STATE as them? :laugh2:

Wow. You go from being the next Ronnie Lot to playing in a parking lot.

Better than bare footed and bucknaked. Only that would defeat the purpose of wearing their hideous uni(s), lol.

AFC North is the perfect conference for him too.

Sloppy weather and not a lot of fast football.

Not only is Cincinatti a horrid team to play for, the city itself is horrible. Roy is in for a rude awakening and he is going to wish he re-negotiated his contract in Dallas.

Roy gave some good years to the Cowboys, but i don't think he really cares that much about football anymore.

Hardly surprising...Zimmer...The dodo who ran the secondary and then the defense with RW is somehow auditioning RW and singing his praises...Shocker

What makes you say the city itself is terrible?

I'd say racist more than anything particularly terrible about the city itself

The fact that I visited it, and it kind of reminded me of a crappy version of Baltimore, and if your talking about crappier then Baltimore, then look out...

Good luck Roy and don't forget to load up on penicillin.

Since when do free agents "work out" for prospective employers? Did Brooking work out for us? Kitna?

Maybe they were checking out his forearm ... putting it through tests. Ya know, hitting it with a sausage and stuff like that.

Did we actually give him the opportunity to re-negotiate this year?

Kind of makes you wonder what team Roy rejected to end up in Cincy?

I'm surprised that more teams wouldn't have jumped on the opportunity to pick up this still young "elite run stopper" even if his coverage skills are suspect.

Well, for one thing, the Pinedale Shopping Mall was once bombed with live turkeys. Film at 11.
