To me he is the Cowboys number 1 free agent priority. Is he a superstar? No, but he is a solid all around player that is probably more valuable than we think. With that said he has a max value and thats in the 3 to 5 million a year range. We did him a solid back in 2012 and paid him 3 million a year despite a torn achilles. I would expect to cost a bit more to sign him this time around, but hopefully he remembers that when deciding between offers.

Hard to criticize the guy for that. I mean how important is the money you make? If some other company that does the same thing your company does offered you a lot more money to work there than you presently make would you switch? He's been very good for the Dallas Cowboys but he has the right to go wherever wants. His contract is up and he is a free agent. He isn't the captain of the defense right now, he is not even employed by the Cowboys.
