DMN | Who's the better draft pick: Larry Allen or Michael Irvin

Ok, how about this, your starting a new team, you have no players, your first pick has to be Irvin or Allen. Who do you pick?

Easy call I would pick Irvin with no hesitation and have a HOF playmaker right off the bat. He's going to make the rest of the players I draft better. I can easily find players who can block but gifted WR's like Irvin who can change a game with one play and become the heart and soul of your team may come around only once in a lifetime.

Who did more for he team: Irvin

Decide which is more important to you, and go from there.

Personally, I side with Irvin. But I only do that because the guy was the heart of our championship teams.

Michael could have been drafted 1st overall and the pick would have been worth it for how he helped put the Cowboys back to a Super Bowl winner. Without him, I have serious doubts we win a SB in that time. Still would have been a very good team. Super Bowl champs? I'm not so sure.
