I think Bell is being groomed to replace Kearse in his role in 2024.

And Mukuamu is in line to replace Hooker . Hoping Kearse stays beyond this year . And everyone’s favorite Donovan Wilson has a hard time staying healthy with the number of violent collisions he’s involved in . Mukuamu is good depth at this point could play into more.

As a more natural CB imo, I've always thought Mukuamu would be best used as a TE stopper a la Byron Jones early in his career. I still like Mukuamu as a CB prospect too, moreso, than Saftey but I trust DQ and crew know what their doing.
My Safety lineup:

SS Kearse
FS Hooker
SS Bell
FS Coyle

I see Mukuamu as a hybrid CB/S, and Ole Dono getting traded as he's in the last year of his contract.
Since he doesn't possess the skillset to play CB in the NFL, why would you think he's more natural there? Great tackler w/ experience at S. I'd say the opposite is true, he's a more natural S at the NFL level.

Cool, that's your opinion.

He's a natural S who played CB in college.

His lack fluidity and flexibility keeps him from playing CB in the NFL. What is it that makes you say otherwise?

I just see him different than you do. We'll see.

There should have been a third option on the poll asking "who"?

Safety is still a big question mark on this team, the FO keeps hoping they hit the jackpot on one of these late rounders instead of using free agency or an early draft pick to help solidify that position

Yep, with Mukuamu taking a CB spot on the roster.
I don't think so. He only played 5 games last season & remained on the bench. Both Kearse & Hooker were re-signed after strong 2021 seasons, & are expected to take up the bulk of reps on defense.

Donovan Wilson, who missed half the year last season w/injuries, figures to play a significant role as well. That limits Mukuamu once again, & likely puts cold water on any expectations or hopes of a breakout year for him.

Ya know, it is funny to me that teams stress around the final 53. There is pretty much a roster move you can always make if needed. Teams usually keep 9-10 OL. Why? You can keep 8 and if you go through those guys, OL that would be 9th or 10th are a dime a dozen. Teams keep 4 RB's...usually after the first 2 the next one is completely replaceable. Keep only 2 QBs...almost all the #3's suck. DO you need 4 TE's, or even 3?

I'm just saying, you really shouldn't ever be forced to get rid of a guy you really like.

Coyle and no Wilson?
