Might be sooner.I think Bell is being groomed to replace Kearse in his role in 2024.

Logjam...see Wilson as a trade target.Coyle and no Wilson?
I would like to change my response to TWO FOR REAL!!!Two actually.
I dont think there's any question after last night. He's a rising star, yet there is a question he makes the roster??
Lol. Ok.
Mukuamu could replace C.J. Goodwin as a special teamer. But one thing is for sure, this guy is making a 53.Very good question. The starters at both Safety positions are Jayron Kearse and Malik Hooker. Then you've got Donovan Wilson, Israel Mukuamu, Marquese Bell, Juanyeh Thomas and Tyler Coyle. That's a total of 7 Safeties. It will probably come down to whether the Cowboys keep 4, 5 or 6 Safeties?
I believe the Cowboys will keep 5 Safeties: Kearse, Hooker, Wilson, Mukuamu and Bell.
I don’t see both making the 53 without injury to someone above them. Probably whichever guy is better on STs makes it and the other goes to the PS but with some injury prone guys ahead of them, they may both get some snaps this year. I suspect the Only chance for both to make it is if they both are not good, but great on STsBell seems to be a favorite of coaches, media and fans.
Is there room for both?
2nd year Safety, Israel Mukuamu (6'4", 220 lbs, 4.46 40 time), shined during dual practices this week between the Cowboys and Chargers.
Mukuamu makes INT on Herbert pass during 1-on-1 drills.

If Mukuamu keeps shining, does he make the 53 player roster?
He looks like he belongs....He’s on my 53.After last night's performance, where are all of the doubters this morning?
Been what fans have screamed for a long timeI hope so, but I have to say I think safety is in much better shape than it has been in a while
I don’t think he has the speed or quickness to be a good CB and that’s why he fell to the 6Th roundAs a more natural CB imo, I've always thought Mukuamu would be best used as a TE stopper a la Byron Jones early in his career. I still like Mukuamu as a CB prospect too, moreso, than Saftey but I trust DQ and crew know what their doing.
My Safety lineup:
SS Kearse
FS Hooker
SS Bell
FS Coyle
I see Mukuamu as a hybrid CB/S, and Ole Dono getting traded as he's in the last year of his contract.
Bell seems to be a favorite of coaches, media and fans.
Is there room for both?
And Mukuamu is in line to replace Hooker . Hoping Kearse stays beyond this year . And everyone’s favorite Donovan Wilson has a hard time staying healthy with the number of violent collisions he’s involved in . Mukuamu is good depth at this point could play into more.
You do know mukuamu body type is near identical to Kearse?Mukuamu is more hybrid S/Big corner, while Bell is more SS/Nickel LB (like Kearse).
Unless injury, both making 53.
