I don’t think he has the speed or quickness to be a good CB and that’s why he fell to the 6Th round

He can be a matchup guy who plays TEs or bigger WRs...he doesn't have to be a full time CB.

Kinda hard to have a CB who can only cover slow guys
But he has really good physical skills to play safety and may be able to develop into a starting safety
He fell to think 6Th round because he was slow for a CB and lacked quickness
Safety seems like the ideal spot for him

Not slow necessarily as he’s a 4.4 guy so top-end speed he’s fine. It was more quickness, hip fluidity, and acceleration.

"Matchup guy" it wasn't hard for Marinelli to matchup Byron Jones, and I think Qinn/Whitt can figure it out. I knew all about Mukuamu before Dallas drafted him.

Byron Jones was an elite athlete
Kinda hard to compare MUKUAMU to Jones
He’s a safety and will never be a CB in the nfl
He could cover a TE if needed but he has the tools to possibly be a good safety and it would be a waste to put him at CB
He doesn’t have those skills
