Do they still suck?

As a team, doesn’t change my overall opinion. Loved the win though...awesome. Injuries, and what our roster is at certain areas. that’s what this comes down to. Can they manage it somehow to stay competive? I still also saw same nagging elements ailing them...dumb turnover pass, drops, unforced dumbo penalty. It seems to be clear this is about effort as well...I don’t know what got said this week, but they were lit as a firecracker. Would they be able sustain that same effort week in and out? Or at least to reasonable levels? I doubt it myself, but certainly anythings possible until you really are eliminated. .

We made the playoffs last year. The goal this year was to win a Super Bowl. Do you think we're a Super Bowl contender? We can win the division but how will we do in the playoffs against New Orleans (with Brees), Green Bay, LA, Seattle, New England, KC?

They are 4-3.

Win a few in a row before we throw down the gauntlet on how good we are.

The win was great. But this team has shown they can easily come out and lose to the Giants in two weeks.

That was fun to watch, we had 21 point on turnovers? I might have misread a tweet. But it was an impressive number.

We have had a total of 21 points off turnovers over the last seven seasons.

Oh wait, it was tonight. Sorry, force of habit.

So can the players play now? Can the coaches coach now? Or does it actually make a difference when you have both starting OTs, two WRs and two CBs?

Obviously injuries are a huge factor, but I saw more aggressive coaching tonight. It made a big difference, especially since they were probably expecting us to sit back and let the game come to us.

If it takes three weeks of getting your butt handed to you to perform like this then yes you still have issues

Losing to a 6 -1 team by two points is getting your butt handed to you?

Whenever the fans/media start singing the praises of this team is when they let you down. We have many years of evidence showing that's the case, so it would be nice if you guys would stop doing that after every measly regular season win. They obviously play better when the screws are tightened around the team.

Agree, but the coaches hands are tied if you are missing your starting OTs and WRs.

But you are right, Bob Sturm does a weekly article breaking down the defense and another on the offense, he thought Kellen Moore was way too conservative against the Jets and it was a big factor in the loss. Dallas clearly gameplaned for the Jets game thinking they would win in a walk.
