Do we have an issue with RB2?

They may have a short yardage issue.

But-
1 Maybe Davis can be above average or at least decent here.
2. Maybe the coaches can help scheme things up to help who we have be successful in this area.

I haven't seen much of anything from Davis. What have you seen that makes you think he'd be above average at the short yardage stuff?

We’re going to find out when the regular season starts if we have an issue at RB2. We may be playing musical chairs at RB2 during the season to try and find an answer. If we have an issue at RB2 it’s going to put more of the load on Pollard and I don’t see him being as effective if that happens. It could lead to an injury plagued season.

Thought he ran well last year in the little he played. He ain't zeke but seemed to run tough but need to see more. Heck maybe vaughn is better than some think here, won't know till we see.

There is this short yardage myth that you have to have a big strong back in order to be good at it.

Thats not the case. Being big and strong can help in certain situations, but can limit you in others. Just being big and strong doesnt do much for you.
