Do we have more confidence going to Houston now?

The easiest part of the schedule is almost behind us. Except for Carolina, the teams we have played have been pretty much bottom of the barrel. Yet we are .500.

After Houston comes the tough part of the schedule. I see the Houston game as a toss up very much like the Lions game. Which it pretty much was. Zeke had to play out of his mind to beat a pretty sorry Lions team.

The Jags game will be no toss up.

This is a bad team in need of a massive overhaul. These wins are counterproductive this year. We'll only be sitting here in January wishing we lost more.

This offense vs the jags lol. We have to hope the defense plays great vs jags offense to win. Jags score 17 they win

I have no confidence in this team. Dak has to prove he can put back to back games together. This is a good opportunity.

I defintely see Houston as more winnable than Jaguars.

Both are winnable.

In fact we will definitely beat Jacksonville. I'm more fearful of Houston because of Watson's mobility and DeAndre Hopkins.

Jacksonville will struggle on offense. I feel we are a bad match-up for them.

For sure feel better about the team after the lions game. Let's hope they can keep it up

I don't think 4-2 is impossible frankly, and I think it'll be hilarious to see all of the doomsayers around here turn into dudes calling for a Lombardi

Do I think the league would like the Cowboys to remain relevant? Yes I do.

Do I think the refs are going to give the Cowboys the benefit of the doubt on 50/50 penalties in an effort to keep them relevant? No I do not.

Do I think the league will give a mandate to the refs to give the Cowboys the benefit of the doubt on 50/50 penalties to support their wishes the Cowboys remain relevant? No I do not.
Sport ( the NFL here) is a big business with a big PR machine they will do anything to keep the rating up.

Houston needs to contain Zeke and limit penalties, to increase their chances for a W.

My confidence has always been that this is an 8-8 team. Nothing has changed.
u could be right, loss .win.loss.win and so forth.
I had confidence after the giant win, then came the sea game and that confidence went out the window.
now another flaky win , really just scored last.
so now I expect a loss, then a win, then a loss, then a win etc.

The key that opens the door to confidence is CONSISTENCY. Haven’t seen that yet. Let’s win two in a row before talking about confidence.

Id like to think so. We avoided going 1-3 with our biggest outburst offensively this year.

In the NFL your often only as good as the last game. Good news is we face another 1-3 team Sunday. One which avoided starting 0-4. And looking to save their season.

How big is this week for us with Jaguars looming next week? A loss to Houston and we will be facing potentially 2-4.

It’s nice to enjoy our win but the pressure continues if we are intent staying in the race.

I think we’d all be feeling much better at 3-2 and worse case scenario of 3-3.

I need to see this offense perform in consecutive weeks. Haven't seen it yet. Deshaun Watson could cause our defense fits too. We've given up some big chunk plays in the past two games. On top of that our defense does not play well against mobile QB's and we're 0-2 on the road. I don't feel good about this game. We don't match up well in this one.

Agree Bob. I need to see our offense and defense perform well in at least two consecutive games. Actually, I want to see them both play well in the same game. Haven't even seen that yet.

Jags are very beatable, they aren't the team they were last year

they need to be ready. this is an instate rivalry, for a team with Superbowl aspirations and reeling right now at 1-3 with their season hanging in the balance. they are going to come out, fired up, punching, , fighting the whole game. this is a 60 minute of NFL war

I agree but for me it’s consistency against good teams which we have yet to face. I never know what to expect from this team but before the season even started I thought we would be undefeated until Jacksonville when the real test begins. Now it looks like we may catch a huge break against Jacksonville depending on LF status.

Nope. OL usually stinks on the road, which means the offense will be terrible

So the NFL has decreed to the referees to give favorable calls to Dallas in their desperation to keep the Cowboys relevant and the ratings up. All this because the Cowboys so bad they need the referees help to stay alive.

You go ahead and keep believing that.

Considering how much money is bet on NFL games, the FBI needs to be called in expose the fraud. If you are right, the Justice Department will bring this league down.

The good news is that Roger Goodell would probably go to jail.
