Do we need a 1 Wr?

Dak isn't Rodgers but Jordy was 33 when he left GB. Let's keep facts facts.
It's a fair point, but some of those receivers like Cobb, Nelson, and Jennings, fell way off when they left. I've watched Rodgers a ton, we all have our biases, but he has definitely elevated his teamates. He isn't the same at least so far this year, he definitely doesn't have youth on his side anymore though. Dak isn't in the same stratosphere.

No......Mahomes didnt make the SB with Hill every year. 5 games in Mahomes and that offense hasnt missed a beat.

Is the season decided after 5 games? Because if so, we apparently won the Super Bowl last year because the Cowboys looked amazing after five games.

Mahomes and Hill made two Super Bowl's and two conference championship games the last 4 years. The true test of how the Chiefs fare without Hill will be decided by how far they advance, not what their stats look like five games into the season.

You don't need a #1 WR, you need a #1 QB. The league has always shown that. That #1 QB can make any WR look like a Pro Bowler if the ball is where it's supposed to be.

Either Dak is that guy or he isn't and that's a separate debate for a separate topic.
That theory is not working out in GB right now. There’s something to be said for good route running and catching skills.

Not talking about winning a SB. The Chiefs offense is doing just fine without Hill. They will never be better without him, but they havent fallen apart like Rogers without Adams.

I feel that we don't need a #1, but guys that can get open and be available to Dak. We saw the fallout with having Cooper here who everyone said was his number 1. They made it seem that Dak doesn't need a #1 because all it does is forces him to get the ball to a certain player.

I think Dak is more comfortable finding the open guy, instead of being obligated to throw to your expensive #1 option. We feel that we need a #1 because we have to have a go to guy, to make big plays for us.

I'm curious to see what happens in the future. Please give me your thoughts

First and foremost we don't have the Cap for a # 1 WR.
Then I wonder isn't CDee our # 1 WR?
Guys like Dez and Coop die in Dallas.
The rest you can figure out I guess.....

I don't see how people watch that game and think WR is an issue like that. Get more Tolbert on the field.

In 2018 people consider Amari Cooper arriving the big thing and it was...another aspect was Gallup getting more playing time and getting Thompson and Hurns less time.

use gallup sparingly an work him back in, mix in tolbert. We have speedy guys (Ceedee is fast but he can't get it done, and Rush doesn't have the arm).

Cd, Gallup, Tolbert, Houston, ect are not speedy guys.

Turpin is. Simi has straight line speed.

Cowboys seem To like wrs that are 6'2, run a 4.5

Have you watched the all-22 week in and week out? Lamb has been open constantly lol. Dude is 15th in receiving yards with a run first offense and backup QB.

Shoot, Rush throws a good pass on Sunday night and Ceedee would be even higher.

Is he an elite 1? No, there are only 5-6 of those at any given time. Is he a guy who can produce as the WR1? Yes he can.

Bingo.

Ceedee definitely has burst. By that I mean he's a good deep threat. You see a noticable difference when he gets the ball in his hands like you do with Pollard. He's plenty fast. Tolbert is definitely fast as well and shifty....Houston and Gallup definitely are not.

He was winning outside versus Philly lol had Bradberry on skates on that bad throw pick. I do get the criticism though my only thing is give the dude time to grow into it. I think he definitely has the ability but a lot of firsts for him this year being the unquestioned 1.
Remember at this point in amari's career he was the guy and we traded a #1 pick for him. I like ceedee but they not the same

You must can't figure out much, no way in hell does CEEDEE say to anyone that he's a #1

thats what they did with rush, they made him throw to lamb and gallup, when he was better throwing to brown.
Jerry wants to prove lamb is a # 1, and so lamb will get the most targets each game regardless of how he does.

Then we he breaks the market again with the biggest deal ever, he will want him to get all the passes, yet Dak will have more to shultz

Let’s look at the end of the year and see who did what stat wise. I bet you Amari fades as the cold weather rolls in and Ceedee end up with a better season.

But I get you
