Rodger's has elevated his team his whole career, I will say what I have seen of him this year he has been very underwhelming, for what I have expected to see from him.
Is that even true though?

We have one

Ceedee is on pace for over 90 catches and 1100 yards and did that mostly with a backup QB

Hes 17th in catches and 15th in yards. He is above Amari Cooper in both of these categories Thats #1 production right there

We need a big physical target who can get open on command and catch the ball....we need a 1 and a 3.....Lamb can be the 2.

Cooper is with a back up qb as well and has 2 more tds. Points win games.

I feel that we don't need a #1, but guys that can get open and be available to Dak. We saw the fallout with having Cooper here who everyone said was his number 1. They made it seem that Dak doesn't need a #1 because all it does is forces him to get the ball to a certain player.

I think Dak is more comfortable finding the open guy, instead of being obligated to throw to your expensive #1 option. We feel that we need a #1 because we have to have a go to guy, to make big plays for us.

I'm curious to see what happens in the future. Please give me your thoughts

No, even Dak said he does not need a #1. I guess he thinks he can make any receiver great, if only he could get the ball to one of them.

Ya Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson are just lighting it up with their WRs.

Broncos country................let's ride. Tuning in to see Russ cook and burn his franchise down is priceless. I don't hate on Russ either, but it's hilarious because he keeps saying it. Give me Dak.

For 12k, signing Gallup was the right move. Cant have everything.
No way. coop was absolutely worth the extra 8m especially considering we gave up a #1 pick for coop and only had him for 2 1/2 years. Gave him away for peanuts and that $20m salary is a deal right now in the wr market.

Another thing is this front office's inability to get him signed roght after he arrived here. They waited until the following season to resign which cost them at least 2m a year more to sign him

I'm not pissing on Dak - the answer to the question is you don't need a #1 receiver, you need a QB who can make his guys look like #1's.

Look at a guy like Brady - outside of Moss, he had castoffs and no-names but they got rings. Mahomes has a collection of guys at the WR spot.

And Dallas clearly values Lamb as the #1 - they drafted him high, he wears #88, etc. We don't need another high-priced acquisition, we just need to execute with the playcalling and playmakers that we have.
Tom Brady has sucked lately. That's because he does have several #1 WRs playing for him. Clearly, Brady has not made his receivers better.

Need a run stuffing DT more than a WR1.
But the Cowboys got rid of John Ridgeway after having used a 5th round pick to draft him. Hard to feel sorry for this team when they cut the pick they actually needed help with at DT. Cowboys create their own problems for being idiots. Plain and simple.

The trade was dumb, but Cooper was not worth 22 million. Cooper was 1000 yards and 6-8 TD's per year. Gallup gets that no problem and for less money. Plus that was a 3 year contract so we would have been on the hook for 3 years. Gotta pay Lamb before then. Wouldnt work out.

Every QB needs weapons.

Mahomes has the best TE in football (basically WR1), they signed a good FA (MVS) and just used a top pick to draft a WR.

Bills traded for Diggs.

The Packers let Adam’s walk and didn’t hit on their 1st round WR and their group looks awful.

I like our WR room as long as they are healthy and Tolbert develops (Brown appears to be good short term stop happening).
