Do you say anything when you see Cowboy fans?

"I like that shirt/hat/sweatshirt/car magnet/sticker."

or

"How bout them Cowboys?"

Oh no .... If you're a true blue Boys fan never say that ... not now. That's an absolute dig during these days and time. It's a punch line. People use that to laugh at us.

I never say anything, but I'm still amazed at the number of casual fans out there when they say something to me and then don't know much about the team. Is it wrong that I want all these fans to reconsider their team choice? I mean.. 1 playoff win in 17 years you would think they would have given up already. The whole nation is delusional over a 8-8 team that loses in spectacular fashion, which in itself is not easy to do... I mean .. losing twice when scoring 35, 140 qb rating and losing, up by 20 and losing.. these are tough things to accomplish. There is like a 2% chance for each of them, nevermind all in the same season. Following the local team or the team your family or friends follow is understandable.. but just choosing to like this team randomly is crazy.

I might give a nod or point at the shirt and give a thumbs up. If I start talking to one and they start saying a bunch of silly crap I just ban them and move on.

True story: One time a guy wearing a Commanders hat and shirt came in to one of our stores in Mississippi and I told him if he would say "Go Cowboys!", I would give him his deli sandwich for free. He didn't do it though.

I'd like to charge double for Commander and NY Giant fans... and kick the Philly fans out of the store. Bad for business though. :D

Hey, you could drop a crate on a pittsburg fan.

I just went to the store and saw 3 hard looking dudes that looked like they just got out the joint. One of them had had a Cowboy T shirt on and I said, "nice shirt bro". I was greeted with hugs and handshakes and the one guy even bought my 16 oz beer. Thought it was very cool.

I don't understand. You went in the store to get 1 16oz beer?
I thought the minimum was 30 12oz's

Yes, all the time. There's some kind of special bond with all us Cowboys fans up here in so-called "Giants Country". There's more Dallas fans up here than a lot of people think, and I believe it makes the New York fans upset.

I almost always say "Go Cowboys" or something along that nature. This one time while walking in downtown Cleveland on my way to an Indians game there was this homeless man wearing a Cowboys hat and of course I said to him "Go Cowboys" and my family kind of laughed at me knowing most likely he wasn't a Cowboys fan lol.

The dark does not get mentioned enough. It is sort of forgotten.

Not to mention scoring 48 and losing, giving up 40 first downs in a game, and all of the other negative defensive records we set.

I wish they weren't true, but sadly they all are.

I tell them I'm sorry for the pain they've suffered ... And they just look at me crazy.

Heh just kidding, here in Beaumont you see Texans/Cowboy gear often so I usually don't say anything.
