Do you say anything when you see Cowboy fans?

I used to love it but not anymore -- now I pick my spots because of one incident a few years ago. A really nice guy with his family in tow approached me in the Orlando airport and was so fired up to see a Cowboys fan. But then he said how bad Romo was and went on and on about how many Super Bowls we could've won with another QB - that QB?

Quincy Carter.

I just couldn't take any more casual fans no matter how nice.

Wow, I could have told this meeting, I love the Cowboys, but the Fans, I just usually nod or wave, but never try to make conversation with them anymore.

I almost always do. They are always nice people, and even if we disagree on stuff we're enjoying that moment of talking about our team.

I wish the Internet was like that.

I dont see many Cowboy fans in South Florida. Every now and then I do, but its rare. I'll say something about the Boys, but it seems the conversation always turns into a bash Romo the Choker dialogue. I get more than enough of that from the fans here and the E-Lie Lovers Club, so more is not needed.

I lower my head and don't say anything if I meet a fellow fan in a crowded area. If we are in a place that we can talk, I will have a quick conversation.

I am in upper management of a grocery store chain and when I see a customer with a Cowboys shirt on, I usually tell the cashier to give them a discount.

Right on!

LOL. Do you use the secret handshake, and password phrases like "John has a long mustache"?

Just kidding you, man.

There a are a lot of Cowboys fans here in Utah and when I see one I always strike up a conversation and they are some of the most positive fans around here as I am about the team. (unlike some fans around here on this forum)! lol

The sad thing is that I run into so many fake Cowboy "fans" that it makes me not even wanna discuss the team with any of them. For example the other day this guy on base heard me say something about the Cowboys and he goes "Oh man I love the Cowboys that's my team. Man OUR DEFENSE WAS GOOD last year, we just need to get rid of Romo & his interceptions and would be in the playoffs" I promptly told him we didn't have anything else to discuss and I walked away. I truly do believe that we have the most psuedo fans in the entire NFL.

I just went to the store and saw 3 hard looking dudes that looked like they just got out the joint. One of them had had a Cowboy T shirt on and I said, "nice shirt bro". I was greeted with hugs and handshakes and the one guy even bought my 16 oz beer. Thought it was very cool.

No most cowboy fans are stupid, have a bunch of idiotic opinions .

I've encountered fans like this before. I try to be polite and move on.

It is kinda easy to recognize Cowboy fans for the trained eye. They drink alotta Jack Daniels to ease the pain.

Here in DC, "you got the right colors on" gets the point across;)
