Do you still hate the 49ers??

Me and my brother were discussing if we still hate the 49ers. I don't know about you guys but my hatred for them seems to be gone. I know in the 90's and even when Garcia and T.O. were there I still hated them. They were like the 5th NFC east team to me, but now I dislike the freakin seahawks more. I don't even revel in the fact that they are losing like I would the skins or the eagles like I used to in the 90's. now its like they don't even exsist to me.

not until they are good again. I couldn't have cared less about the Celtics for the past 10 years-now I hate them again.

I think it's dormant for me right now. I kind of like Mike Nolan, the Niners are irrelevant and they don't have any real distinguishable players... plus, we haven't played them since 05 so there's not that much to get riled up about.

But I do really, really despise Vernon Davis. Maybe I can kickstart my hatred again with him.

Are you sure it's just because they aren't good because if the eagles went 0-16 next year I would would still hate them and revel in their losing, but the niners when they lose now I dont even aknowledge it. where even in the early 2000's the niners lost, and I loved watching owens and garcia's relationship breakdown.

See though, I think that was because the Niners WERE good when Garthia and TO were there. It didn't last long into the 2000's, but the taste of their playoff-ness was still there. You say you hate the Seahawks... well, they're not great, but they always make the playoffs, and they always play us tough. That should tell you all you need to know.

If the Eagles started sucking, in four or five years you'd feel the same way you do now. If you didn't, it'd be because we play them twice a year.

Yeah, Watters annoyed me too when he was w/ the Niners, but I absolutely couldn't stand him when he was w/ the Eagles.

yes but not as much as I used to. I feel more pity for them now. The ownership has really ruined that great franchise.
