Do you still hate the 49ers??

Me and my brother were discussing if we still hate the 49ers. I don't know about you guys but my hatred for them seems to be gone. I know in the 90's and even when Garcia and T.O. were there I still hated them. They were like the 5th NFC east team to me, but now I dislike the freakin seahawks more. I don't even revel in the fact that they are losing like I would the skins or the eagles like I used to in the 90's. now its like they don't even exsist to me.

I still hate the Steelers from the '70s and half of them are dead, you bet I hate the 49ers.

I used to root against them each and every week. Lately, I don't pay much attention to them.

But I still feel a small wave of disgust when I see their helmet.

hell yeah i still hate the 49ers. I live in the San Francisco bay area so these 9ers fans are everywhere, they try to clown on me for being a cowboys fan, but its funny cuz all the niners fans live in the past. I hardley see 9ers fans wearing any current players jerseys. for example.

I used to live in Yuba City, close to Sacramento. You would see a few more people wearing Whiners garb than you saw wearing Cowboys garb, but only when they were winning. When they took their fall, almost all of the hats and jerseys disappeared. But here were the Cowboys fans, even during the 3 5-11 seasons in a row sporting their Cowboys gear. Me included!

Granted they stink now, I dont really pay attention to them because they pose no threat to the boys. If they were good i'm sure my hatred for them would be at full force again. I do get a kick out of watching them lose though even if they aren't playing the cowboys :laugh2:

Imagine being a Cowboys fan and being stationed in the Bay Area in the mid-90s. That sucked giant, green donkey ... well, you get the picture. Anyway, I hated it when SF won the SB in '95, but was redeemed when we brought home the Lombardi in '96.

They didnt have a run in the 90's... we were this close to 3 consecutive NFC title games.

they were in the playoffs every year, in the NFC Championship game 3 years in a row against us.

they won the SB in 94.

Heck, they were even good in the 70s, making the playoffs several times and playing in the NFC Championship game a few times.

Now the one negative I can say about their run is their division was crap. They never had to compete against a great division like the Cowboys, Skins, and Giants did.
