Do you think Dak is hiding from the Eagles game?

You love Dak, I love winning. Those two things won't coexist if Dak is inserted into the Philly game. Cooper Rush should get one more start and after that Dak can have his job back. Week 7 is the right time for Dak to return unless he needs to do as Gallup did by taking an extra week to get mentally prepared.
Dak shouldn’t start until he’s 100% both ohyyand mentally.

Or that the organization is hiding him to give him a softer landing spot versus the Lions at home the following week?

Having to come back at Philly when your replacement hasn’t lost in a month is a tough predicament.

Guys who make it to the NFL, especially those who have some longevity aren't wired like that. This suggestion or question is just preposterous.

Dak wouldn't hide, but Jerry would sand bag it for sure.

I think that injury takes 6 to 8 weeks to heal and the owner sold you guys a line and now your running with it. He cant grip the ball, had a plate put in his hand 4 weeks ago...he will play when he is able to play.

Dak already has a lock excuse for the rest of the season. It will be that his hand isn't fully healed, and we will see his breakout next year when he's healthier and hungrier than he's ever been.
Same story, different year... ground hog day dak.

"Hiding"?? Dak had to be held back from trying to practice a couple weeks ago and if the team let him he would have tried to play the week after the thumb surgery.

No matter what your opinions are about Dak as a player, he wants to compete and he wants to be out there. Period.

That's a silly argument because the Eagles and the rest of the division has been laughingstocks for years. It was like winning the WAC conference.

This Eagles team is different. They are overrated because they haven't played anybody, but they are certainly better than they were the last few years.

There's simply no good reason to play Dak with a broken thumb that hasn't had enough time to heal. I wouldn't play him against the Lions either.
not really.
my point is its dumb to say he isn't playing because he's afraid.
he's 7-3 as a starter vs the eagles.
he's not playing because they want to give his thumb as much time to heal as they can.
but this idea that its because he's scared to play the eagles is beyond stupid.

You guys are missing Jerry’s big plan, Rush will start and struggle in the first half and Dak will come in and save the day, and all will be right at Jerry’s World.

They'll say that this Eagles team is much better than any Eagles team that Dak has beaten before. Yet I can still remember the media and some fans hyping up those Eagles teams in a similar manner to what they are hyping this year's Philly team. And I remember claims about how the Eagles had a much better roster than the Cowboys had at the time and predictions about how those Eagles teams would beat the Cowboys. Yet that didn't stop Dak and the Cowboys from beating them 7 times.
don't forget my favorite philly urban myth after they won their super bowl....THE DECADE OF DOMINANCE we would be living under.
you didn't blink or miss it.
it never happened.

For God's sake, some here are including LAST year's Vikings game as an individual accolade. It's gotten nuttier than normal.

If there's a chance Prescott is healed up and ready to go, he should play. That's our best chance of winning vs. Philly. I would feel different if Rush was laying down some numbers to feel confident in a division game.

You agreed with me and then called me a troll. Lol.
You Dak trolls are a sight to behold.

Yep, you are the Dak troll. Better goto Costco and stock up on tissues. Dak is coming back with a top 3 defense. :oldcouple::oldcouple::dance::dance::yourock:

God help us if Dak hasn't figured out the cover2 defense yet. Hopefully he's been spending many hours in the film room.

Dak with a borderline thumb, who hasn’t played football in a month, on the road in Philly, would be an all time stupid move by the cowboys.
