I was thinking today, that with the success we are having especially offensively, would Linehan be the hot assistant to go after this offseason?
Good question. If this offense goes deep in the playoffs...some club could certainly be interested. On the other hand if you look at what he has to work with, his job is fairly easy!!.I was thinking today, that with the success we are having especially offensively, would Linehan be the hot assistant to go after this offseason?
no salary cap for coaches!Let's hope not. Does anyone know anything about coaches contracts?
his work with a rookie qb and rb...speaks volumes.Don't know don't care. As long as we have an experienced playcallers not named Jason Garrett than I'm fine with someone else. I can't see him getting a job. Surely other teams would realize they simply don't have our players to do what we do and nobody is going to sit and wait through a "process" like Jerry Jones did.

He should have done the same thing with his veterans last year. Not knocking him, but having the right players can make a lot of coaches look like geniuses. And I've been a football coach for the last 29 years.his work with a rookie qb and rb...speaks volumes.
Good question. After last years debacle I would think most are giving more credit to the talented Rookie players than the coaching .I was thinking today, that with the success we are having especially offensively, would Linehan be the hot assistant to go after this offseason?

how bout taking over the Rams?I doubt he'll be finding a rookie QB like Dak and a rookie RB like Zeke and even if he does he will not have the horses on the OL like we have and he'll be lucky to have anything close to what we have in the TE and Wr department.
