Bust proof? Lol idk about that but there are prospects. And there will be every year. Dak wasn’t a sure thing do you consider him a bust. He landed in a good spot right out of the draft and squandered our best opportunities.

And they stand the chance of not getting a QB as good as they have. These people tried to trade up for Lynch and would have taken Cook if he was available. The fell into Prescott, after they fell into Romo because of having a coach on staff and both of these QB's were consolation prizes.

You want the same people picking a QB that tried to get Lynch and Cook?

You will never if you are scared to trust your team scouting evaluations. Your reasoning can be used to never upgrade any position. How are they going to get better if they settle for what they have without trying to upgrade?

Many scouting services are ranking him above Fields as the second best QB in the draft. He will not skip out of the top five IMO.

It was set up that way, that is why it is a yes no poll. It doesn’t have real qualifiers that is why it is flawed.

Doesn't matter what fans want. With all the teams that need a young, experienced, top 5 qb, Dak and his agent have the power.

Either Jerry pays or Dak leaves. If Jerry tries to lowball again or jack years up then I expect Dak to leave.

I would like to have him back at a reasonable rate.
I do not want him back if the salary is over $32M.
He is a good leader but he just doesn't have the 'it' factor to take the team to the top without a good surrounding cast on defense.

We are already over invested on an offense that isn’t carrying us further without a better defense.

If Dak can carry this offense without all of this Top 5 support on offense then he should receive top 5 money. Then we can invest more on defense.

We've had to result to not having "it", because actually tangible and Measurable feats don't work anymore. He has plenty of "it" if "it" is your team scoring points.

Those 3 won SBs. Yes, they are making the money with a cap that is not at $175M right now. Next year the cap goes down to $175M. Something has to give to get the numbers to work for all teams. The Cowboys need to spend money on defense. Giving Dak $35M doesn't allow money to improve the defense.

Dak was 1-3 with this defense and it was a lucky win against Atlanta. The NYG game was close in the 3rd quarter.
Dak could not win with this defense. Paying Dak big money will lead to the same result next year.

I'd welcome Dak back with a fair contract but not more than $33 mil for 5 years.

Aside from that, his health must be top notch for him to get a lucrative contract.

He will be tested in TC to determine the degree of his readiness to perform OK.

Dak wouldn't accept that before, and we have to sign him or guarantee 38mil to get a look at him in camp.
