Do you want Elliott back now or what?

I'm on the fence...or more like a 40/60 want him back/don't care.

If we go 2-0 without him (beating NYG and WAS) then I start to care even less. We went years with being held hostage by Romo's health and didn't skip a beat rolling right into being held hostage by Zeke's off the field shenanigans. It's compounded further by the big red goof. I'm growing weary at this point and want a shake-up.

Bingo.

Tired of the deflating off seasons dominated by Zeke's idiocy and selfishness. Add in I believe that a better HC would have taken 2, possibly 3- teams in the past in the past 5 years to a Super Bowl. I'm ready for another disappointment if it means the end of the grinning Ginger's tenure here.

At this very moment (9/1/19 at 2:22pm EST) - do you want Zeke back or do you want to see what we got w/o him? Can we tow the line and win games w/o him and prove to Zeke that we can win w/o him?

Yeah, Ive waited too long for a team with this type of talent. I want to make a run and Zeke gives us our best chance.

However, I need to know what the deal looks like before I can say that without reservation. Any deal we sign will need to have an escape clause.

Of course.
Fans are funny. It's not your money nor your body. Yet people have the nerve to be angry with Zeke.
The only stake we have in this is our enjoyment when our team wins and our disappointment when the Cowboys lose.
If Zeke makes the winning happen, what right to I have to hold a grudge?

Nobody cares about Jerrys money, we care about the future of our cap and not being hamstrung by bad contracts.

Correct. But as a fan I have more confidence, based on history, that an albatross contract for Zeke will do more damage to Dallas' ability to win in the future than signing Zeke to the albatross contract.

Just don't guarantee any money.

I'd have to say that I'm on the fence.

I think I've resigned myself to the fact that a deal ultimately will get done, because neither side has any real alternatives. But I'm not sure that it's best for the team long term if a big money, long term deal does get done?
I’m not on the fence - I’m over it on the “#21 can suck it” side.
