per the Jones, i don't think we see a totally new young HC hire - from- the -outside in here now

... i really believe the Jones are gonna covet that " Win Now" vet HC that can take this team to NFC title and SB in the next 2 years ... they had hope that be SB resume McCarthy would be the over the big hurdle guy ... but he's proven not

If they were gonna head to a young buck HC, it would've been the insider,.. under their wings Kellen Moore, .. but as of right now KM may have lost a lot of stock and confidence .in the organization...
If they fire MM and hire Moore, I'm taking another hiatus.

I'm leaning towards Quinn as the HC. The team played inspired the week McCarthy was out.....also...I think it would free up Kellen. I just have a hard time believing Kellen is that vanilla coming from Boise St. He's under someone's thumb to dumb down the offense. It's time to find out what Kellen is really all about...and keep everyone else from having input in the game plan.

I like Quinn to, but this team needs a guy that will come in and command respect. Not only with the players, but the officials as well. Make everyone, our players, opposing teams and the nfl in general respect us again. Until then were a joke as always.

That to me isn't Quinn. We need a guy that can get the most out of dak.

No. Can't blame MM for the ineptitude of the defense or Dak McNabb or the receivers...or the ridiculously bad officiating.

Did anyone else see the pregame...with the respective shots of the teams in the tunnel? The Niners looked like they were loaded for bear...jumping up & down, active, excited, waiting to hit the field. Camera turns to the Cowboys. To a man, they looked uninspired, down...scared even. Like a line of mourners ready to enter a funeral home. I knew we were done then.
Yes i noticed that. I knew what was coming

Yes.

Horrible first season and we are just beating teams we are better than. He needs to go. No need to watch anymore. There is nothing to build on.

We have poor clock management, regular drive/game killing penalties, poor discipline, a literal WR throwing the football out of bound in a playoff game...and roughly 1/3 of voters want to keep McCarthy.

I just can't even...
The only part of this I'll respond to is the WR part. How does a bad throw (if it even was a bad throw, as opposed to Pollard running the wrong route) translate to a HC being bad? The play design was excellent, IMO (and that was most likely Moore's doing). It was just poorly executed.

1310 says that they feel Jerry would rather keep Dan Quinn and fire the Fat guy.

I said yesterday that it would be stupid to fire a head coach that won 12 games, but that crap we saw out there today was unacceptable. I am sorry, but the lack of discipline is just off the charts.

Contrary to what most are saying, the game was officiated fairly in my opinion. If the refs and the league really wanted to screw us they would have just let the spot stand for the 49ers and let them kneel it out. I actually saw Randy Gregory laughing after getting called for that hold penalty that was 100% legit. That is unacceptable, the penalties all year long has been a problem and fat mike has not done jack squat to fix it.

So I fire fat Mike tonight and tell the wonder boy to not let the door hit him in the arse on the way out either. Quinn is the only dude I would keep off this whole coaching staff, I would even be open to naming him the new head coach.

As far as the players go, time to start showing a lot of these losers the door, call it a rebuild if you want.

If it is Quinn what makes him that much better in terms of being a disciplined team? Also it’s still gonna be moores offense? So what really changes other than Jerry puts in his guys

I just want to hire a coach who looks like he's doing something. For years it was Garrett standing by himself, clapping. Now it's MM standing by himself, looking confused.
Every shot was looking at the video board or complaining about an official. Can't find one clip of him berating a player. Meanwhile in Tampa no one is safe. Even Tom Brady gets criticism from Arians when something goes wrong.

No. That man took a 6-10 to 12-5. Big achievement in only 2 seasons. McCarthy made Moore look good until the real Moore was exposed!
Good riddance Moore!

What’s the point?
As long as the people at the very top remain the same, replacing MM with the 7th HC in the last 27 years won’t make any real difference.

If thats true and hes conviced that last play was the right call he needs to get away from football.

If not for that once again horrendous clock management and all those undiciplined crap i would have said keep him one more year because most of the stuff that happened tonight was on the players and Kellen Moore, but after tonight im done with him.

You cant come out this unprepared in a home playoff game being the favorite after a 12-5 year.

The players discipline is his job. No one apparently fears any consequences. They can do whatever they want. Hes not better than Garrett.
