He got one "first place" vote because Lamar got the rest. But the voting had numerous criteria and he ranked number two overall. So before questioning my information, do a 1 minute google search to see I am correct. And he will be in the hunt again this year.
The only thing Google brought up was some similar nonsense Tad posted last season when Dak lost in a landslide. No, getting one vote of all possible votes is not close.

Hi Tad. While we appreciate the put it in the universe juju so you can collect your bag mentality, do us a favor and stay off social media and watch some football instead. Start with the MVP runner up’s great playoff performance of 2024 against GB. If you need social media, start here:

Stop playing dumb. He got one stinking vote.

Do you brag about coming in second in a two man race, especially when you got lapped dozens of times before the finish line?

What a joke.

I do not think Dak deserves another big contract but he's going to get one with the Cowboys or some other team. He's 31 and his best shot was last year.
Hard to argue with this.
Want to see the forums current mood on this topic.
I voted Do Not Care. But, I do care about winning.
On one hand, I don't think it makes sense to give him that much money. He's not proven he can win the games that matter.
On the other hand, I don't trust these guys to find a new QB. We've blindly stumbled into our last two QB's. And, I would rather Dak then any of those guys between Aikman and Romo. We could have had Manziel or Lynch or Tebow set this team back. Those are the kind of guys we like. Ouch.

Dude, he came in second in the MVP race for last year's season. Don't be a moron - you can find it in 10 seconds via google. That's finishing behind one player in the entire league. If you can't read, I can't help that. Do I think he is the second best player in the league? Of course not. But the fact remains that he finished 2nd in the MVP race last season and, unfortunately for a lot of folks on this board, is tough to accept. And he will be in the running again this year in spite of having only one great receiver and a middle of the pack RB room.

He's been gushing about Lance the entire preseason.

If Jerry follows his usual schtick, that would mean he's getting us ready for Lance in 25. It looks that way at present.

I see the same thing.
As a Cowboy fan, I want Lance to succeed or fail decisively because of this.

Well no ...... he would have to wrestle it away from you rabid Dak fans.
But here is the good news for you guys that are obviously mentally challenged. You damn sure wouldn't lose any more playoff games. Dallas wouldn't be sniffing the playoffs. You know, I have been a Cowboys fan since the Staubach days - it is eye opening to realize how many morons make up a good chunk of this fanbase.
