They will walk to the same place they have for almost 30 seasons, the sofa … for the CCG and SB … This is exactly what you are not grasping here. In spite of this sofa surfing, the Dallas Cowboys have become the first professional sports team to be valued at over $10 billion. Jerry don’t need Dak, he’s just a shiny object and the previous sentence is why JJ has all the leverage. If he decides he no longer wants Dak in a Cowboys uniform, at HIS price , Dak has zero leverage and them shoes were made for walking.

Now on top, of that, let’s say Dak gets Thiesman’d. Tell us, if Jerry doesn’t want to pay xxxx over xxxx years and the injury risk is real, how much leverage does Dak really have? Not asking for your perception of leverage, but actual leverage.., some team wanting to overpay for terrible playoff performance when Jerrys bank account will go cha ching cha ching isn’t leverage, risk for a career ending injury with nada to show for it, isn’t leverage. Jerry disavowed his own flesh and blood and you think Dak has leverage? Oh but but but the click thirst stories
It's a young mans game...Dak already had a broken wheel, that is why he gets scared playing with the young strong boys. He likes to beat on the punks.
But that is about to be over.

im mean wouldn't the Colts getting Manning be a better example that lasted for years and brought home a trophy...Luck was good but it ended bad and no trophy.
Manning is top 10 all time. If you're judging by that standard, almost none work out.

Here's what you're missing: It didn't end badly because of Luck, and not getting a trophy was not on him.

I believe in the golden rule; treating people like you’d want to be treated. You obviously don’t abide by that. Try to be better.
Ok then why can they not win? They draft the right players but then those players become losers? I'm sorry make it make sense over 3 decades of players and coaches THEY brought here always end up chocking...how can it be anyone else but the FO?

make it incentive based. Don’t win superbowl…you get $30 million per year.

Win a superbowl and that number jumps to $55 million per year.
He may be fine with that if the other 21 guys are willing to make that deal. Why should Prescott take all the risk? Would you?

The FO obviously deserves blame for the bone-headed decisions they've made over the years with HC hires, questionable personnel decisions, and so forth, but they've put a product good enough to allow the franchise to go 12-5 for three straight seasons; that's not easy to do. At some point it falls on the players and the most important players in the biggest spots simply fold.

He came in second just last season. He will absolutely be in the MVP race again this year and will at least be Top 5 or 10 when done. Let him walk and see what your replacement QB MVP ranking is at the end of 2025. Instead of worrying about QB, how about asking the Jones boys how they improved the offense with the offseason moves (or lack thereof) regarding RB and WR2. But that's OK - Prescott has been good enough to overcome having a complete **** show of a front office for years. That continued this season with Dallas providing Prescott a mediocre RB group and having just one "go to" guy at receiver that defenses will be able to key on. Bravo.

He got one vote. It's not like it was a close vote. Please stop with this MVP fantasy. It's ridiculous.

He got one "first place" vote because Lamar got the rest. But the voting had numerous criteria and he ranked number two overall. So before questioning my information, do a 1 minute google search to see I am correct. And he will be in the hunt again this year.
