Right there, I'm out at that point.I voted no, not a long term deal, as that is the question. I really am in the do not care category, but only based on letting this year play out first.
It cracks me up how easy it is for everyone to see right through him, yet he seems to have no idea just how transparent he is.It's rabbit hole talk is all.

I know right. I just don't get it! We've wasted far higher picks and way often.Gee Whiz. The hand wringing over a 4th round pick is pathetic. If Lance doesn’t work out, it isn’t a huge loss.
so what sample size do you have with this FO? Thats all im saying after 28 years what makes you think its the QB?I get that, and to me at least, the plan with Dak has been determined a long time ago. I'm just ready for a change and something fresh. I understand it's always a risk making a change at QB, but to me I've had a big enough sample size to know that Prescott will only take you so far.
Not hard to figure out.Dak has been far from bad. We’ve won a lot of games with him, but the playoffs haven’t gone well. Our next QB won’t likely have the regular season success he did, which means we’re going to struggle to make the playoffs.
You shouldn’t waste any picks.I know right. I just don't get it! We've wasted far higher picks and way often.
Weird.
You are on this board and you classify the word "clueless" as hostile? Wow. I'll try to tone it down. How about naive as hell. You must be having a bad day to call another human being on the internet "clueless." Why so much hostility?
You still don’t get it. If they can’t accomplish the deal, where are the Cowboys going to walk to? They’re going to be staggering around trying to figure out who’s going to be their starting QB in 2025. While Dak will be even richer than he is right now on a new team that probably is more committed to winning. It’s going to be a win for him and a big loss for the Cowboys.
ZzzzzzThat is your opinion lol. If the Cowboys walk away from the negotiating table, then they do so with the knowledge that the team may have trouble finding the next QB-but still are okay with it. Which boils down to Dak’s perceived leverage meaning less to the Cowboys than it would need to be to facilitate a deal.
You are making your emotional point from Dak’s side of the table. Whoever “wins” in the future has nothing to do with leverage on this deal currently because those things have not happened yet. Failed deals are because the leverage that both sides brought to the table were not convincing enough at the time to the parties making the decision.
I know they’re pretty darn good at drafting. They haven’t been in a position to have a top 5 pick since Zeke in 2016.so what sample size do you have with this FO? Thats all im saying after 28 years what makes you think its the QB?
I believe in the golden rule; treating people like you’d want to be treated. You obviously don’t abide by that. Try to be better. You are on this board and you classify the word "clueless" as hostile? Wow. I'll try to tone it down. How about naive as hell.
Zzzzzz
This is exactly what those who want Dallas to move on are hoping for. You nailed it man. Terrible analogy for what you’re going for but perfectly said.It would be like losing your beautiful girlfriend to another man and having to settle for an ugly one.
Tad over here counting his cut like60 million starting next season - unless he is willing to give Dallas a discount because he enjoys being a Cowboy and knows he can make more than enough in endorsements to make up the difference.
He is sleeping...trying to think where he is wrong. Are you agreeing to disagree?
?? Why bring me into your fantasy.Did you ask 5star permission before you typed this?
They will walk to the same place they have for almost 30 seasons, the sofa … for the CCG and SB … This is exactly what you are not grasping here. In spite of this sofa surfing, the Dallas Cowboys have become the first professional sports team to be valued at over $10 billion. Jerry don’t need Dak, he’s just a shiny object and the previous sentence is why JJ has all the leverage. If he decides he no longer wants Dak in a Cowboys uniform, at HIS price, Dak has zero leverage and them shoes were made for walking.
