1. No, I just enjoy football and the Cowboys are my team.

2. Slightly, I follow the team closely and I matters.

3. Yes, But I get over it either way by mid week.

4. Are you kidding? ( I'ts a big deal man!)

5. My whole week is good or bad based on a win or loss. ( no exceptions)

Hell yes it does! I'm noticeably more upbeat and vivacious after a win. I watch the other games (if we played early) and am fully engaged.

A loss, and it usually takes a couple days for the sting to start to go away, and the rest of the week for it to fully subside. I have to force myself to watch the other games that day, and the whole time I'm reminiscing on our loss.

It's really bad if we lose on a Thursday, having to endure nearly a week and half for redemption, as well as a whole Sunday of non-Cowboy football -- that I watch, but in protest!

A lot of this board will say it doesn't effect them, that it's "just a game," yet the posts after a loss clearly point to the contrary :)

And just to amswer your OP, somewhere between 4 and 5 :)

I have to admit, I really enjoy the wins, losses bother me but not as much as they used too. I don't know if my expectations are lower or I have just realized that there are more important things in life.

It stinks but I can't let it drag me down.

It depends though.

Last season? Every win was great and when we did lose I felt like we were due for a loss so it was okay. Similar to how I felt in 2014.

2015? I was falling asleep during games by mid season. I didn't let anything bother me shortly after Romo went down, it was a lost cause.

The 8-8 seasons? The losses followed me a little more because you always felt the team could beat anyone and every loss was gut wrenching.

I was either #4 or #5; however, after I got addicted to studying the game footage, I became much less affected by a loss. Game analysis after a lost is addicting unless it was a blow-out. I just have to understand Why they lost.

When I was younger, it would totally piss me off for days, I would be in a horrible mood all week.

Now that I am older and have a young daughter, the games don't seem that important anymore. I root like crazy for a win, but when the team loses, I don't get upset anymore.

I think having a daughter is the reason for the change. You quickly realize that the outcome of a professional sports game really is not that important compared to being a parent.

I do to, but you have to get to the point where you become a student of the game and understand the why, how and because. Also throw in there the other positive things that really matter. Dang, I sound like I need a shrink...lol!!:lmao2:

There was a time in my life that it was a strong "5". But I have to say time and age change many things. Now it is somewhere between "1" and "2". I still feel as passionate about my "Boys" but life has a way of teaching you that there are many more things more important than a cowboys win. JMO
