Hate to say I told you so but...
I told you so.
I think it's more of a fact that BP doesn't like him and he thinks he's too cocky than it is a fact that he can't play.
Either way, he is a 2nd round pick and should be playing. He is not. That makes him a bust currently for sake of argument.

Alexander said:Bradie James is not an adequate comparison. There is a difference in the expectation level between a very high second round choice and a fourth round choice.
Burnett is not a "bust" yet, but I am sure the team is disappointed in his production after his first year.
yep Burnett is a high 2nd rder. I was hoping for him to make an immediate impact. He hasnt done anything this year, but i'm willing to give him more time. I will be disappointed though if he doesnt start next year.kartr said:Exactly, no comparison at all.
kartr said:I agree with you completely. His NFL.com scouting report said that some team would be fooled by his measureables and mistakenly draft him before the 3rd round. With his collegiate injury history and the fact that he is a one-dimensional run stuffing lb who can't cover makes me wonder what they were thinking. I thought the same thing about Al Johnson too, he carried a 3rd round grade too, yet we drafted him in the 2nd round. Parcells seems to have history of making questionable draft decisions,i.e.Terence Newman over Kevin Williams, when we could have gotten Rashean Mathis in the second round;his production is almost identical to Newman's, maybe even a little better. I don't have to mention Jacob Rogers over Shawntea Spencer in 2004 or the Henson pick we lost which could have been used on a RT or WR or Travis Daniels or Ray Willis.
