Leon Lett ruined my Thanksgiving dinner. I couldn't stay for dessert, I just didn't have the appetite for it. Then I grew up and had kids, real life and all that.

If I had a hobby, any hobby, that made me angry all of the time - or even a good bit of the time - I'd find a new hobby. What's the point of doing something by choice that makes you upset?

This. The importance of perspective cannot be overstated.

It's one thing to "be into" something. Have fun with it, involve others, get excited about it. That's a worthwhile hobby, to me.

If I was SERIOUSLY getting down or angry over the outcome of a football game, I'd look for something else, like you said.

I put it at about 2 points less than great.

But at least our defenders didn't look too winded giving up 7 yards per carry against the Giants 4 minute offense.

I love watching the Jets offense. Their QB doesn't have a golden arm but he's smart and knows where to go with the ball (like Romo). The offense is physical and they execute well (like ours with Romo). Combine that with a solid defense and you've got yourself a good team. Really, they're the same as Dallas but with a good defense.

Serious question. Does anyone else get absolutely mad when watching real and up to date NFL style coached games? The Jets offense on paper isn't as good as ours and yet they are moving the ball at will against a formidable defense. It's infuriating.
