Does anyone know how fast Zeke is at the moment?

Zeke longest run in his entire career is 23 yards and it was in 2020. So you saying he is been slow since 2019 makes a lot of sense.
Elliott's longest run per season, 2016-23:

60, 30, 41, 33, 31, 47, 27, and 17 yards. So in seven of his eight years as a pro he's had a run longer than what you said.

We're already on the internet so looking up stats is pretty easy. Not turning into a Zeke apologist but why just make things up?

no way some of you just want to be negative and just wildly guess and call him super slow I watched some of those New England plays from last year also when he was healthy the first halves of the last two years he was here he still had some bursts the man can still run below 5 guaranteed.. He no longer has long speed but he was always a power back that was fast for his size now he's just a power back has normal speed for a guy his size the people now understand that I mean do you watch sports and pay attention most guys are not that fast how fast is Najee Harris Mr. 3.9 yards per carry for his damn career bro I mean how fast do you need to be to run 3.9 yards because that's some of the trade ideas I've seen around the Internet and I've seen Eddie George also only break 4 yards per carry twice in his damn career you think he was fast I mean how fast do you think these dudes are that are actually big and supposed to be labeled 3 down blue chip power backs these are not supposed to be fast guys like **** backs you know third down backs you know that used to be change of pace backs that teams are using more and more literally they were supposed to be fast and power back just ran your *** over or found a way inside of 10 yards to be fast enough.. But don't get it twisted when zeke was in college he ran track he also did hurdles and he was fast for his size now he's just your very normal speed for his size...

But people now we got zeke back you had all the negative posts from Prescott the trying to find the worst and everyday post who cares how fast he is if he can get short yards if you can still block and he can find the end zone that's all we needed for he is now a role player he does not need to be starter fast... I will bet you right now he can run a 4.6 maybe as the season wears on it goes to 4.8 but this man could definitely be under 5 guaranteed.....
Glad the Cowboys snatched him up before any of the other teams did.

Well..I just mean we didn't go out and get a high round young healthy player at that position.

I posted zeke's new england highlights and so far...nobody has responded. Like they don't want to face the reality that their silly jokes fall flat. They'd rather pretend zeke is washed to see who can make the coolest slow fat jokes.

THAT is very weird to me. But that's me. But...hey whatever ya need to do to get by in this tough life.
Yeah the 70 yard swing pass jaunt and the two 30+ yard runs that called back on penalties were telling. Even on some of hit shorter runs you could see that was a little more pep in his step. They way he attacked the line of scrimmage, hit the pile then squirted out the other side was vintage Zeke. I am on record saying he will be fine. I think he will at least match the yards we got from Pollard last year and double the TDs. If he does that I will conclude re-signing him was the right move. Then again I never thought he should have been let out of building anyway. They should have kept both backs and just flipped the roles if they really wanted to see what TP could do as the full time starter. My guess is they would have flipped it back the other way by mid-season because Pollard struggled mightily as the lead dog. He finally got his legs under him by week 8 or 9 but we could have been converting a lot more of those short yardage and goal line opportunities with Zeke while we waited for that to happen.

Yea he looked fast as hell there. Would love to see some plays like that.
The Cowboys pretty much stopped throwing him anything but last second dumpoffs at some point. Back when they regularly used him down the field and in the screen game he was lethal. And why wouldn't he be? a 6' 230 slab o muscle in the open field with a full head o steam scares the hell outta DBs. I will stand by my assertion that even some guys who COULD catch him don't give max effort for fear of getting punked. Hopefully McCarthy saw some of that action in New England and puts it back in the playbook.

When Zeke's performance declines from mid-season on you will disappear and go M.I.A. again.

Unlike most here I do not live vicariously through athletes. I don't give a $hit either way.
I didn't say you had to.

But you are a Cowboys fan? I would hope you would cheer zeke on and HOPE for the best. That would help the Cowboys if he did.

But instead you announce his doom and hope to rub it in when it happens?

I could have that wrong, just how it looked.

I admire your optimism. But hope does not break tackles, ligaments, and bones. Men do. Anyone who has ever been on a football field knows fans have zero effect on the final outcome.

My former teammates and I would laugh when we would see joe blows and middle aged fans arguing in the stands during our games. I have always thought that was weird. It is also why I never use the term "we" like many people here do. Men wanting to be apart of something without taking the bumps and bruises.

Makes me wonder about their personal lives.
