Does anyone really think Dak would veto trade at this point?

Would veto a trade at this point? Seriously what does he get from staying with this organization vs anyone else at this point? This is like watching a broken record with different names on the back of NPC's at this point. So besides money which he already has what else could he get from staying in Dallas.
He's on cushty number as America's Teams QB, which are paying him $34m cash this year. Which play-off team's (or play-off potential) teams would want to give up draft capital for him this year.....especially when they can potentially draft (in a decent QB year) or get him next year (without having to pay the Cowboys)?

You guys act like vetoing a trade to another team guarantees dak gets an extension here. Tell him to hit the bricks and you aren’t paying him didly poo and I guarantee you he accepts a trade
But he wont believe Jerry.....which is why Jerry being a sh@te GM is intrinsically linked to Dak and how he approaches him. Friend of the stars than GM.

His mouthpiece Tad already said he's ready to move.

It will be mental with him wherever he goes.
I don't think so. It wasn't mental with him until recently. It isn't easy being the QB of the Cowboys. Win or lose you're going to be the headline on TV each week. And it get's double when the playoffs start because of our past failures many of whom didn't even involve Dak. If he goes someplace else he can start over.

Job security. Anywhere else and he'd have a real GM holding him accountable for his salary.

Spare me the poor old Prescott nonsense. He is blessed to be in Dallas.

Look at Dak's career without any bias. He was drafted by the Cowboys right at the time it coincided with the Cowboys having
1. The best offensive line in football - if not the best definitely top 3
2. Had a Zeke Elliot that behind said line
3. Had Dez Bryant

That was his rookie year. Look around the league and tell me how many rookie QB's are coming into a situation with half of that? Certainly a lot of the top guys taken are coming into bottom tier teams. The one guy I can think of would be Brock Purdy who was drafted late and came into a situation where they have an absolutely stacked team.

Given that in the 8 years Dak has been in the league there have been some changes in the overall makeup of the team but he generally has had decent to very good offensive lines. Defense has been up and down a lot. We have had years where the defense has played great and the defense has played horrible. Dak, however given what he came into definitely has not been a net positive to any of this and in a lot of ways has underperformed when it really mattered.

Some fans don’t get the Dallas Cowboys gravy train for players. The Joneses have a legitimate reason to ask players to take home town discounts. If Dak played for any other team and had similar stats he would not have 1/3 of the commercials. Wait to we see how many commercials CeeDee is in next season.
Then why is it no one ever actually takes a hometown discount??

$ he gets $ and control over the most valuable football franchise. The money he makes marketing himself as a Dallas QB is more than what some other QB's make playing football.

Depending on where they wanted to trade him, absolutely I could see him vetoing a trade. Realistically, if the team wants to trade him they will likely talk to him in advance about what teams he would agree to.

Would you take a discount of any kind if you were at the top of your profession?
So there's no "legitimate" reason for a player to agree. It's almost like it not legitimate for the Jones boys to ask.

I think the endorsements is over played. In spite of the attempts by his handlers to make him into a big celeb type star, he just hasnt gotten traction outside Texas. I dont live in Texas - I've never seen an advert with Dak in it. He's not on the same level as other NFL stars like Mahomes, Allen, Burrows etc.
I see his sleep commercial and I'm in MD... Can't remember if I see it only during football games or outside of them, but I do see them. That's the only one I think I see.

You negotiating contracts. One of the most important things Jerry sells players on is look at Troy, Romo, and Irvin. Your career after football can be great on television. Or you can sell them on Stauback, Emmitt and Woodson on their careers outside of football in general. Jerry has also taken care of the Quincy Carter types.
