I don't think Aikman would have seen the field had Dallas kept winning. I think Aikman came in when the game was too far gone against the Lions. That's when home field mattered. It was extremely tough to beat the Lions at home.
Compare Romo and Dak's seasons 1 through 6.
No, not also. We're not comparing teams. I remember some of the outlandish and ridiculous things fans would warp into an argument about Romo. Now he gets every excuse in the book; too bad Prescott wasn't afforded the same. You can't even compare two players honestly without having to muddy the waters inserting their teams and schedule. And Also Compare how strong the NFC East was Seasons 1 through 6. Easier division equals more wins.

The problem is the 2 QBs aren’t judged the same for the exact same action, by neither side. Romo can get hit and fumble the ball and it’s the line’s fault. Dak has the exact same play and it is lack of pocket awareness. And visa versa. No, not also. We're not comparing teams. NoDak gets every excuse in the book now. It's the coaches. It's the refs. It's Zeke. It's The Entire Offensive lines. As for comparing the strength of the East, with each quarterback it is still valid. Remember the last game of the season was a pure garbage time stat padding game. A weak East Pads Daks stats.
You just described every team. It's like the clowns that are using our record vs. non division teams as a way to try and trash Prescott. Dumb. Why even bother responding if you can't counter the point that playing weak teams will make a quarterback look better than he is? The proof is in the pudding Dak looked elite destroying the likes of the Football Team and Iggles this season. He didn't look so hot against the Cardinals or 49ers. Dak walks away looking statistically good thanks to blowing out weak division rivals.

Aikman came back into the game in the second half after Beuerlein threw a pick 6 at the end of the first half. Aikman was completely rusty and did not play well in the second half, and the Lions routed the Cowboys.
My memory of that game is shoddy at best. But that sounds about right. The other thing is, the Lions were two totally different teams home and away. You used to see that a lot back then. Rarely if ever now. I don't know why.
Well...show the numbers since you are so confident that he pads his stats.Dak gets every excuse in the book now. It's the coaches. It's the refs. It's Zeke. It's The Entire Offensive lines. Hint: NFC East numbers are slightly better...
How??? Please explain this.Romo throws the ball better but Dak is the better leader. Prime Romo is better then prime Dak so far.
