Does anyone think Randy Gregory will be playing next year?

Everyone this is only a thought...i personally really like Randy Gregory...and myself having suffered consequences of addiction and the hard walk to overcome it...i know it can happen...Just wondered what you all thought chances with Randy Gregory might be?

Dallas media was oddly hush-hush about it, but it made its rounds in the national media. Jerry publicly "doubted" the validity of it, the same way he doubted Zeke would be suspended. I suspect Jerry's PR team worked this one pretty hard to make sure no one broke it locally.

What I would like to know is...Was he ever clean to begin with? I mean all these failed tests...yet it takes time for pot to get out of your system...up to months. If he got clean...then relapsed...that's one thing. But to have stopped...and still fail tests because THC is still in your system...that's another story.

His only other recourse I can think of is he could sue the NFL for his right to smoke. It's not illegal.

Unfortunately Gregory is an addict, I Don't see him playing another down in the NFL.....He's already failed 7 drug tests administered to him and to think now being away from the team facility, structure and support entirely, to believe he could go a full year without testing positive would be a miracle at least......it wouldn't surprise me if he already failed a drug test since his year long suspension was enacted, but we don't know about it yet.....

I still don't get sending these players away from the team which can be his support system. The NFL has their discipline system very wrong. Like another poster said, unless certain drug policies are revised I can't see him playing another down in the NFL. He looks like a wasted pick as it will be a miracle if he cleans up his act being away from football the whole year.
