Does anyone think Randy Gregory will be playing next year?

Zeke gets 6 games for just being accused of DV with no actual evidence and y'all are wondering when Randy is coming back from his 200 failed drug tests?

Baaaaaaahaaaaaaaaa

I am sure he is banned for life at this point by King Goddell
Lawrence Taylor would still be bagging milk and eggs under the current system.

"the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma."

I haven't read anything about Gregory's use of Pot that he is enslaved by it or that it is psychologically or physically habit-forming. I prob smoke more than he, I live in Oregon where it is legal, and I go weeks without using it at times. Am I addicted? No. Of all the reports I have read about him, he has a mental disorder, not an addiction.

The condition of being abnormally dependent on some habit, esp compulsive dependency on narcotic drugs

That's the definition of Gregory, in order to do "A" one must cease behavior "B", unable to cease behavior "B", prevents you from doing "A"

Whether it's Drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, etc, It's compulsive dependency behavior, He's had at least 7 failed drug tests that we know of, he knows the consequences but he can't stop, he needs that fix, that high, he can't go without it unfortunately he's an addict....Football should be the least of his worries... he needs a year in a treatment facility, away from Football, some three week treatment isn't going to help him, I don't think he'll ever play another down in the NFL, I hope I'm wrong but the track record of these players with addiction show otherwise....

Someone asked earlier "what makes him selfish?" Well how about the fact that couldn't stay away from an illegal substance? Or I could have something to the effect that the Cowboys needed a pass rush and he couldn't stay clean for his team or his profession? He is a weak individual who never wanted to be a part of a team.

It is kind of obvious that football is not a priority for Randy and because of that, I hope he never plays another down in Dallas. If he wants to try somewhere else, feel free to give that team the headaches

Of course he will. Because he is Azor Ahai - the Prince that was promised. Born from salt and smoke, under a bleeding star and the one who will defeat the white walkers.

Oh wait, wrong forum. My bad......

Everyone this is only a thought...i personally really like Randy Gregory...and myself having suffered consequences of addiction and the hard walk to overcome it...i know it can happen...Just wondered what you all thought chances with Randy Gregory might be?
RG will smoke weed for many more years. He'll rededicate his life to football later, but by that time he'll be 35, horribly overweight, slow and broke.

I still don't get sending these players away from the team which can be his support system.
Right you are, govnor! Teams can very well afford to baby-sit players, no matter how long they abuse women, drugs and liquor. Where is that Calvin Hill, master recreation director, when we need him?

We don't know if he is dependent on Marijuana. We have no idea how much he smokes or what effect it has on him when he can't have it. All we know for sure is he may have a mental disorder,

What I would like to know is...Was he ever clean to begin with? I mean all these failed tests...yet it takes time for pot to get out of your system...up to months. If he got clean...then relapsed...that's one thing. But to have stopped...and still fail tests because THC is still in your system...that's another story.

His only other recourse I can think of is he could sue the NFL for his right to smoke. It's not illegal.

Would be easy enough to tell. The trace amounts would be measurable so if what you say were the case, and I don't know that it is, then the levels present would be diminished. It's not a pass fail type thing necessarily.
