Does anyone think Randy Gregory will be playing next year?

Even if he gets clean and doesn't fail any more drug tests, how many games is he suspended for at this point?

Or more precisely stated, how many seasons?

What I would like to know is...Was he ever clean to begin with? I mean all these failed tests...yet it takes time for pot to get out of your system...up to months. If he got clean...then relapsed...that's one thing. But to have stopped...and still fail tests because THC is still in your system...that's another story.

His only other recourse I can think of is he could sue the NFL for his right to smoke. It's not illegal.

In most of the states the NFL operates in MJ is still illegal. AND it is still illegal FEDERALLY. So that will not fly. IF it were not medically indicated for him (and there has been nothing about that I have heard) it is illegal in more states.

Only if the NFL stops testing or caring about MJ does he have a chance. And even if it does its still a small one for him.

I think he will. Kid can play and Martavius Bryant just got re-instated after the same ban. I chatted with Maliek Collins and he stays in touch with Randy and "seemed" to think he would be back.

Everyone this is only a thought...i personally really like Randy Gregory...and myself having suffered consequences of addiction and the hard walk to overcome it...i know it can happen...Just wondered what you all thought chances with Randy Gregory might be?

He will never play another down for the Dallas Cowboys unless they approve pot use. And even then its a maybe.

Unfortunately Gregory is an addict, I Don't see him playing another down in the NFL.....He's already failed 7 drug tests administered to him and to think now being away from the team facility, structure and support entirely, to believe he could go a full year without testing positive would be a miracle at least......it wouldn't surprise me if he already failed a drug test since his year long suspension was enacted, but we don't know about it yet.....

How did you determine he is an addict? Did you ask him or are you a doctor?

Got same chances at Kap playing for the cowboys. Yes I left out the E in his name.

You've got to be kidding....Look up the definition of addiction, it's pretty explanatory ...

"the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma."

I haven't read anything about Gregory's use of Pot that he is enslaved by it or that it is psychologically or physically habit-forming. I prob smoke more than he, I live in Oregon where it is legal, and I go weeks without using it at times. Am I addicted? No. Of all the reports I have read about him, he has a mental disorder, not an addiction.
