Does anyone wish we had any of these quarterbacks instead of Dak?

Sure seems like you are attacking me.
As I said, the team also needs to be more consistent. Now is the time to do so, and not lay eggs as in Buffalo and Miami.
Consistent just isnt the word...

I agree with everything else.

Consistent team play is hard unless you are the Brady Patriots it seems. Thats why there is a saying "Any given Sunday"

There are just so many variables, you cant just pin it on one player...and its not fair to ask a team to be Brady Patriots with the amount of parody in the league.

I get that you think reasonable is dangerous to you...you think it stymies growth and progression...but I think a more reasonable approach would be that our run game and run defense need to step up.

Actually, I agree with the other guy, he's right and he's not attacking you you're asking him to be better in Buffalo when the defense was not??!!

he brought us back to have the lead with four minutes left in Miami that would have been the go-ahead touchdown had the defense not laid an egg the whole team laid eggs in the Buffalo, 49er games and to some extent the Arizona game.

But I don't know who you're talking about laying an egg in Miami they played Miami really well for being on the road for a team that needed a win more than we did. I mean he literally gave us the go-ahead touchdown but people say it was too soon no leaving too much time on the clock is saying you don't trust your defense...

It's insane that fans are still on this kit where they don't understand that each loss has its own context its own perspective and its own story it definitely wasn't that the team played well but the quarterback lost us the game that's what you're saying?? There literally was no one open no one really does throw to or have time to throw to given the fact that the offensive line in the run game were nonexistent and most of these losses you keep bringing up you can't play alone against the playoff teams that is why they're playoff team you could have to bring your a game as a team it's kinda hard for the quarterback to have an A game when the rest of his team is playing with their C game or worse..

He did not settle for Dak. They tried to make trades and they did not work out.

Jimmy Johnson tried to trade for LB, James Francis, then LB Lamar Lathon, they settled for Emmitt then?
And he also wasn't it Steve Peluer or whatever they got me it's expansion draft , I know it was a quarterback that was his quarterback in Miami at some point these fans thought that the other two quarterbacks might be better after that rookie year that Troy had.

actually most teams had Paxton lynch graded higher then Prescott so of course he was considering it but guess what some other glorious GM took him before us what does that say about your post that you don't get the NFL draft and how it works and that all teams have a board and that they go by and in this draft there were guys that were higher graded then Prescott so yes he was on their radar... The fact that he was drafted long before we can even trade up to get him means that other teams had Paxton lynch also graded higher than Prescott.... That means nothing we still picked him when the time came to pick him and they still were right and he turned out well.... At least our glorious GM didn't give up three first round draft picks for quarterbacks in the top five for them to just fail like Trey Lance you don't think that that glorious GM locked out when he tripped over Brock Purdy for the last guy in the draft they had no idea that he was gonna be who he is none this is not an exact science...

I know the context of it all. But fans can't take some constructive criticism now and then.
And he sure was attacking me.

They would’ve took money making Mitch Tribusky lol.
I think the point of this thread should steer towards don't mock our GM because other GM's did take those other guys literally they were gone by the time we would have picked or allegedly you're talking about Mr. bisky you got these GM's giving up three first rounders for Trey Lance and somehow they brag about those DM's and not Jerry they're mocking Jerry for doing what most GM's do and have guys who are rated higher and look to get up there and get them....

So, are we still cutting him in the off season? Asking for a friend!
Sure, but we'll be able to sign him as a cheap backup because no other team will sign him to be their starter. (I seriously saw that opinion expressed here.)

A 4th round comp pick, basically a 5th round pick yes they took a flyer and settled on Dak that’s just the way it was. They got lucky and we have to wait until it plays in out to see how lucky they were.

Just askin'. :)

Football is so week to week, yet fans go on this emotional roller coaster ride after each win or loss.

But, every QB goes through it, except for maybe Mahomes, who gets a pass no matter how bad he plays.

Dak is not exempt from the fire after a bad offensive showing, let alone in consecutive weeks.

And, personally, I think he's overachieving based on his arm talent. But he's a bonafide great leader.

And here's who was taken ahead of Dak:

1 Jared Goff Cal Rams
2 Carson Wentz North Dakota State Eagles
26 Paxton Lynch Memphis Broncos
51 Christian Hackenberg Penn State Jets
91 Jacoby Brissett North Carolina State Patriots
93 Cody Kessler USC Browns
100 Connor Cook Michigan State Raiders

Does anyone wish we had any of them instead? LOL
Why didn't you add Patrick Mahomes?

I thought we were going to have a serious list like Josh Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Tua or T Lawrence
