I'll "move on" when I;m dang good and ready. M
Why do you even respond to him? How can you actually read his posts with all that gibberish?

To quote the great Marvin Gaye "People say believe half of what you see, son and none of what hear. " (song was actually written by William Robinson, better known as Smokey)
Dak played very well today. There's no doubt. TONY TOO!
But I noticed when tv coverage showed the QB and WR in the same frame, the WR was already out of his cut by a couple strides before Dak threw it.
So I don;t know how big a deal this really is. And I bet he certainly threw some passes earlier than the WR cut. Just saying what I saw on several passes....all (or mostly) completed.
So big deal? Not? Will it matter more against better teams?
Throwing with anticipation and "throwing a receiver" open isn't always about throwing to them before or during a break... it's about throwing to a spot and leading the WR.
Dak is excellent at quickly identifying the coverage and throwing it to the right person. Against Zones especially.
Additionally, a lot of routes in the NFL are option routes based on coverage and leverage. Seeing it the route isn't always a bad thing.
I agree.This.. people amaze me with their inability to recognize that receivers have multiple options on most plays based on the coverage. If the receiver sees it wrong and the QB throws it to where he THINKS the receiver is going you end up with a pick. This is why a lot of INTs are NOT on the QB.. but the smart QBs don't throw the receiver under the bus. The reality is that we never know who was truly at fault on most interceptions. So the softhead immediately blames the QB. The fact that Dak waits to make sure he and the receiver are on the same page most of the time before throwing the ball is not the worst thing in the world.
You should have seen my post before I edited it.Why do you even respond to him? How can you actually read his posts with all that gibberish?
I agree! As a former receiver, I never asked the QB to put it here or there or right in my chess, I just wanted him to throw it in the vicinity and I'd do the rest, and I did. If you're a good receiver, you can time the catch radius, if it's coming in too high, you time your jump. If it's coming in too late, you slow up a bit and position your body in front of the DB, if it's coming in too fast and wide, all you can do is reach for it or dive, if it's coming in to low. get your butt to the ground and catch it. That was my job, to catch the ball no matter what.
At times, I needed the ball coming before I made my break, but at times, I needed the ball to come once I was open since DBs are slick. As long as you get the ball there, that's all I can ask. I'll never forget telling my QB one time, since the DB was playing off on me the entire game, I told him, just throw it up and I'll get it, and when I took off slowly and then burst into speed, he threw it up, I made a diving catch in the back of the end zone to win the championship. My proudest moment. Just throw it sometimes and let me do the rest.
The QB has too much to worry about other than the exact point to put the ball. Sometimes the receiver has to be the star.
I can say the same thing. why even discuss money. he is paid like x and should play like x...etc. meaningless.I hate that we're bringing money into this.
It's bad enough forum members think you can't question Dak Prescott about ANYTHING...even when it LITERALLY...in black and white...is a question.
Now we have to fight about the contract inside this question.
Stupid
I agree with you a 110%....to throw it to the chest for every throw would be wrong, sometimes you got to lead the reciever based on the route and the play and no QB throws perfect every time, that's why good WRs get paid what they get paid is to make plays out of bad throws. As a former receiver, I never asked the QB to put it here or there or right in my chess, I just wanted him to throw it in the vicinity and I'd do the rest, and I did. If you're a good receiver, you can time the catch radius, if it's coming in too high, you time your jump. I agree.
I also think you should take it easy on those with less knowledge than you. Now trolls and haters are one thing....have at them!
But some people honestly don't know how these "subtleties" work. Dak has a pretty young set of receivers here. Plus he's fresh off injury and little preseason.
If we can just get healthy and he (dak) keeps making progress getting back in the flow...all good!
He had a great game and yes he holds the ball to long.Dak played very well

I here ya ronnie. I can barely keep up with my OWN comments let alone track every single one of us!I'm afraid I'm too lazy to keep track of who is innocently ignorant vs willful trolls.
Keeping Dak healthy and with it out of his own head is key to this team going deep in the playoffs. If he doesn't trust his body it seems he doesn't trust his eyes. So it's paramount that we keep him from getting too beat up before the playoff run.. Run the ball to 13 wins.. even if it isn't enough to win the division defense and the running game travels so I aint worried if we have to go on the road to get to this Super Bowl..
Six incompletions yesterday is indeed a good game. Moore called a good game also. Let's just hoped Moore keeps taking out all of those option routes that causes Dak to hold the ball too long.He had a great game and yes he holds the ball to long.
Are you saying I "question dak about "everything""?I can say the same thing. why even discuss money. he is paid like x and should play like x...etc. meaningless.
and I can also say why do Dak detractors question dak about EVERYTHING, nitpicking every little thing, and there is enough of the Dak detractors that of the 27 throws yesterday, 27 were questioned. Does any other QB go through this level of scruitny, from how he sets his feet, did he move his eyes, did he throw with anticipation or was it anticipated enough, or he should have thrown half a second later if he really had anticipation and there is not enough zip and 5 of the throws were off target, and why was he sacked, why does he take a sack and he doesn't run enough, or he runs too much...its never ending.
and your question was answered by several, that perhaps based on your bias and perception and expectations maybe the play was run as designed. what ever it was, it worked. there is no perfection. even the GOAT brady is not perfect.
yes, very stupid that people just can't enjoy a win and have to find one throw to comment, question....very stupid
Im good with it. This isn;t a "lets crap on Dak for holding the ball too long".Six incompletions yesterday is indeed a good game. Moore called a good game also. Let's just hoped Moore keeps taking out all of those option routes that causes Dak to hold the ball too long.
....constantly
He has to see the throw...instead of trusting the timing. Does it all the time. It's the most frustrating part of his game. He can't throw to a window...
Wait a minute..."little people" can"t know football?Shows how little people know about football.
I swear you people don’t actually watch Dak play. If you think he’s not accurate and doesn’t anticipate his throws then you really don’t know what you’re talking about
He has ALWAYS been a see it, then throw it QBDak played very well today. There's no doubt. TONY TOO!
