Does Stephen Jones even want a Super Bowl Ring?

No. If he did, he's pay attention to what wins in the playoffs. And it's NOT an obnoxious owner who constantly gets in the way.

No he doesn't. Well he does if it just accidentally happens but he's more worried about continually fielding a decent team and not wanting to risk actually winning a SB then having to get rid of big contracts.
 
Of course he does! People here talk about their egos. It would feed their egos to be the richest sports franchise and win a SB in the process.

We have the O-line, receivers, tight ends, running backs and a QB to win one. We also have the D-line, linebackers, corners and safeties to win one. And a very good special teams too. This is a solid team regardless of what people here say. If we don't win it all it won't be because of the talent he helped bring here. It will be the 14 penalties including a HUGE bone headed defensive holding in the last minutes after a huge stop on 3rd down, missed passes, dropped passes, missed reads, blown calls, turnovers, etc.

We have a bad habit for many years of not being focused in big games. If we can stay focused we will win it this year. And some people here will not give credit to where credit is due.
 
What? Win a Super Bowl? Do you guys realize how much money it would cost Stephen and Jerry in raises alone ? How many guys would hit incentive clauses in their contracts ? The Jones' can't afford to win. Too much money would be in play. Gotta hang onto mediocrity, its sooo much more affordable. Unreal.

As much as I hate to say it, they have some wiggle room right now. Why? Because nobody, not even myself, can say they haven’t built a pretty dang good looking roster. Our roster is filled with alot of young talent and in the next 1-3 years the Jones will be having to make big boy decisions. Parsons, Lamb, Diggs, Steele, Tyler, and even Dak and Tank will need new contracts soon.
 
I no longer believe a Super Bowl is significant to them
It's all about power and prestige

Yeah he wants one. But doesn't care if he doesn't get it or not. He has never worked hard in his life. So if he doesn't get it, so be it.
 
If Jerry departs does Stephen become the gm similar to the movie Tommy boy? Lol. Based off the last 27 years I'm not sure it makes a difference to him.

No of course not, the FO is happy to rake in money hand over fist. Winning a SB is not even in their top 10 list of things to do.
As long as the team is in the news 7- 10 wins is good enough. This FO doesn't come in with that passion everyday of winning another SB. Full stop

Stephen Jones is more worried about the Cowboys being the number 1 franchise in all of sports. He is more worried about the money aspect of the Cowboys. He is the conductor of the Gravy Train. Choo! Choo! :laugh:
