Does the FO even value the S position?

So, we are good? No reason to try to improve?

Guess we shouldn’t draft any defensive players either. Hey, we were Top 5!
For a minute I thought you thought the draft had passed....

If ever there was a year to upgrade S in FA, this was the year. But now options are limited. We haven’t drafted a S high since Jones and he wasn’t a S, he was a better CB.
It's a pretty good draft for safety this year that lines up with mid 2nd to mid 3rd round grades. I bet their board has about t3 of them stacked at or near our draft spot at 58.
Maybe they go in that direction.

I do suspect that they like Heath better than some other people do though....right or wrong.

What do you think??? Obviously the answer is no... Roy Williams was the last star in his early years that we had, and then you have players like Jeff Heath-Wilcox-McCray-Church-Elam-Sensabaugh-Keith Davis.... They don't value the position whatsoever, and then it costs you in games like Rodgers hitting a WR over the middle and Wilcox taking a horrible angle in Greenbay and letting the Packers get momentum in the playoff game, or Heath getting lost in the rollout by Goff at the end.. That's when they should see how important the position is

We should look to improve and FA is still taking place but does not mean you spend stupid.

They made an offer to trade a 2nd rounder last year for one who would have had to be paid well.

This is a stacked safety class. Even a bottom tier 2 free agent safety could significantly upgrade over Heath while not breaking the bank (hope the cowboys sign someone, upgrade and win NOW)
