Shouldn't be a cap issue. First of all a QB as goo as Romo when healthy...you almost can't pay those guys enough. Having said that a team that trades for Romo will only be on the hook for his 14M base salary. They probably work out an extension for say 3 years and in that process that cap hit can be negotiated down if need be. But 14M for a QB is a pittance these days.
I was primarily thinking of the Texans and their stupid Osweiler overcommitment there. But you're right that done is very goo and is also a really goo value right now at this stage of his deal. Goo luck beating that contract on the open market.
