Does Zeke have any shot at the Hall of Fame?

Curtis Martin was not a Hall of famer, hall of good. "Possibly" very good for a short window.

But yeah, the running back Hall of Fame committee and its running back standards lost me on that one.

Zeke is better than Martin.

I'm not even sure if Zeke will make it to 10,000 career rushing yards. He's limping and wheezing along as it is, and frankly, no other team would give him the workload he's been receiving here.

He would need another 2 healthy seasons on the Cowboys to crack that mark, and how long can we keep frankly wasting plays in order for him to crack it? You see what Tony Pollard did last week... we could have been doing that for the last two years.

Would’nt surprise me if Chubb and Henry eventually pass Zeke in career yards

Those guys are the best backs of this generation. You could make a case to include Dalvin Cook too.

Chubb never gets mentioned as "the best running back in the NFL" because he plays in Cleveland, but he's working on his 5th season in a row over 5 YPC.

Yes, because his career is not over yet.

It would take a SB MVP and several more thousands of yards but it is technically within the realm of possibility.

Probability? Low.

I’m trying to think if he’ll even be a starting rb in the nfl after this year. Probably only if Jerry continues to be a moron when it comes to him.

No because we wasted his talent. Between Garrett, and now the dumbest offensive coordinator in the league, KM.... they wasted his talent instead of using, Zeke's strengths.

Lol... I remember that press conference. KM said he wanted Zeke to become an old slow plodding RB and to stop explosive runs to be fair to the rest of the league.

On the bright side, he has potential to be the best FB in the league. Feed the Zeke. More hamburgers. Get him up to 245lbs. And a 3 million salary.

Pollard isn't going to hold up if you make him an every down back

There will never ever be another Emmitt Smith. We need to move on from that concept. We need a speed/shifty guy and a power back. Turn and burn.

.....but TRomo is? That would get a LOL too.

And no, Zeke doesn't have enough under his belt to get to Canton.....no SB, no NFC championship game, no records......just part of a dysfunctional franchise.

If he can miraculously regain the burst / explosion he once had, he would indeed be a lock for the HOF. But unfortunately, he has absorbed too many hits, injuries and miles on his body..

At this point, no. He needs to accomplish considerably more to make it in to the HoF.

I think it's way too early to even be discussing Zeke's chances at the Hall. Whether people like it or not he's probably going to tack on another 600-700 yards THIS season.. And if he is released by the Cowboys someone will pick him up and hand him the ball 250 times a year for 2-3 years and he will be sitting somewhere between 11,000 and 12,000 yards at age 30. At that point it will really be up to him if he wants to play on. If he keeps getting under 250 totes a year I seriously think he could do that 5-6 more years easily.

But truth be told the way the game has evolved it's going to be difficult for any running back in this era to get in. They just don't get enough opportunities .. Henry might because he plays for a team that believes in the running game and are going to give him the ball come hell or high water. But Henry is a year older than Zeke and has had a much higher usage rate over the last 4 years.. Father Time is coming for him too. He's had 90 carries the last three games.. Will be interesting to see if he can hold up if they keep doing that. The foot injury from last year is still keeping him out of practices.. Anybody think that thing is gonna get better as he ages?

He's got a lot of work to do to even be mentioned in the meeting, and I don't think he has it in him.

There is not a chance in hell Zeke will even be remotely considered HOF worthy. If a player like Jamaal Charles is stuck in the "Hall of very good" camp, Zeke sure as hell isn't getting in. It's not even a debate.

And no him going Frank Gore and playing another 7-8 years won't change it either because he only had around 2-3 seasons of elite play before falling off hard.
