And he didn't deserve the MVP award in either. That award has become a running joke. If you're just going to give it to the winning Qb, quit calling it the MVP award.I’m not sure horrible is an accurate summarization . He was inconsistent. But his longevity and never missing a game due to injury enabled him to put up some impressive career stats.
Eli ranks 8th all time in passing yards and 9th in TD’s NFL history and 1st in Giants history. Besides being a MVP in both SB wins he was a 4 time pro bowler.
