that was just some more rehash, amazing they get paid for that.
I do get tired of the one line "no one knows this offense like Romo".

They havent even been running the offense he knows lol.
Switch qb's and offense's lol

Uh, Romo was there for most of TC. The offense we are seeing now, for the most part, is most likely only half the playbook with some half-assed read-option like stuff tossed in.

Romo knows this offense and these players better than Dak. I don't know why it was a controversial thing to say.

They can't let this thing become a distraction. Unless Prescott craps the bed in Wentz' presence announce he's the starter the rest of the way.

Wanna bet? Jerry gets the last say in everything. Romo will get a chance to get his SB if they make it that far....

Based on all the other videos I have seen on this "problem", I went into it expecting yelling, arguing, etc. While the video really offered nothing new, it was actually nice to once again see sports guys talking without screaming, agendas, soundbites, etc.

Sports discussions like that in the media seem to be more and more rare these days.

Reality, I was hoping for a healing here. The fact is this argument is silly.

Does anyone here actually suggest they would be unhappy for a Super Bowl win with the quarterback they are not aligning with in this argument? That is crazy talk.

My hope is this team can shock the world and win it all this year. Then have an excellent off season and bring in defense and have a repeat. Then in the next few years rip off a couple of more championships and again take their place at the head of the NFL table.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired of hearing about Brady and Belichick and the Patriots.

So I ask, if we won with the other quarterback, you know, the one you aren't backing in this insane argument, what possible difference coujld it possibly make in the big scheme of things?

reality, this thread needs to be whisked off to the quarterback cornfield since it will spin out of control. But thanks for your kind words.

This is what I have been saying. I really don't care if Romo or Dak is our starting quarterback, as long as we keep winning and, more importantly, finally win another Super Bowl. If it's Romo, I will be happy for Romo knowing he finally won a Super Bowl. If it's Dak, I will be happy knowing we not only won a Super Bowl, but we also have our next franchise quarterback for the next 10+ years.

Why would they need to back themselves into a corner like that? To appease the media?

They need to keep doing what they're doing.

Good piece but I thought the "led them to great things in the past" was not an entirely accurate statement. Plus, as has been pointed out repeatedly, the big question is how Romo plays NOW.

Part of why ESPN is losing subscribers at record rates. Watching them mismanage their product into irrelevance is a beautiful thing to behold.
