You have obviously been watching higher than Randy.
You have zero data to back up anything you are saying.
Just goofy takes and vibes.

Having to resort to "well teams game-planned against him" with zero proof of that is how you know you had zero argument to even start with.
Lol, sometimes you have to believe what your eyes tell you and let go of your emotions. It was obvious how teams were blocking him compared to how they were blocking Armstrong and Basham that made it glaringly apparent Gregory was a major focus in their blocking scheme!

Something else I didn't notice until I recently looked, their contracts.

Forget their entire contract, just go by the first 3 years since they can both be released after that. For the first 3 years Miller averages 14M a year cap hit, Gregory 12M a year. So yeah, if he was going to pay Randy, paying Von wouldn't have been much of a leap.
54 million of Millers contract is guaranteed. That’s 3m more than the entire contract contract offered by the Rams. There’s no reality where the contract he signed wasn’t blatantly foolish!

Miller has a lot of mileage and how many declining players have burned us with dead money? We made the right decision. It would have been nice, but he was simply too expensive. He'll start declining after this year. You watch.

Von Miller has the 2nd highest pass rush win rate this season.

2nd only to Micah Parsons.

Bills also have the best pass rush win rate in NFL as a team.

Only a fool believes Von Miller not worth the money.

ok, and what’s the chance of him maintaining that for the entire season (hasn’t had double digit sacks in 2 seasons) especially when he’s in a game where he actually has to play the run and not just get to pin his ears. What are the chances he actually plays the whole season. What are the chances he plays anywhere near the 6 seasons in that contract. Prior to his signing, every other post was Jerry is the “Devil’s Child” if he doesn’t get it done. As soon as that contract was announced it was crickets. Everyone knew it was ridiculous. As I said before, it’s a contract you sign if you think you’re one player away and at that position. This team isn’t one player away, it’s more like 10 players and that may include needing an actual QB. We’re most likely going to have to resign Diggs after this season… Micah the following (assuming their agents aren’t imbeciles). It would kind of suck to lose one because we signed a silly contract that got us absolutely nothing!

yes it is where do you think you r fantasy boy?? it was the correct decision, moving on to actual real football to play, not going back 2 months..movign forward, all aboard.

LET IT GO, defense is playing great without your mancrush.:lmao2::espn:

If you're going to comment, at least have the brains to follow the conversation. I didn't bring up getting Von Miller, I was responding to someone that did. So that's twice that I have to correct you.

It's a myth that signing Von Miller would have prevented re-signing Micah or Diggs or any other player they wanted to keep.

Teams clear money EVERY offseason so they can sign players to help them for THAT upcoming season.

The fact remains the Cowboys have 20M of cap space sitting there doing NOTHING for this team THIS season.

Don't let Stephen gaslight any longer.

So release other players you need for one that still got you nothing and is gone after 2 seasons himself. Yay!

Yes you release lesser players for players that produce in top 5% OR BETTER at their position.

And you replenish those discarded players with draft picks, bargain FA and UDFA projects.

That's how you build championship teams.

Did Jimmy or Belichick teach you nothing?

Lol, both would have traded Miller 2 years ago and run to the podium with a smile on their face and a spring in their step to turn in the draft picks!

What he did with other teams is irrelevant… he’s not the difference here…way too many holes in this roster. This team will be lucky to get a wildcard this season… Miller ain’t changing that reality!

Gregory would have elevated the defense.

Like Micah, he helps others eat.

Look closely. There is no Tank, Armstrong or Fowler anywhere on this chart.

You're wrong.

Dallas defense is playoff caliber RIGHT NOW.

It would have been championship caliber OR BETTER with Von Miller.

Lol, have you seen the offense???? Miller wouldn’t get to pin his ears here. How effective you really think he’s going to be into the 3rd quarter after having to play the run all game at 33?

Wow, now you're just flailing and grasping at straws.

You obviously have not watched the games vs both Brady and Burrows.

Why do you even feel qualified to comment if you haven't done even your basic due diligence???

Lol, flailing and grasping at straws would be believing Miller would make any tangible difference towards this team actually getting to the SB… much less winning. It’s a wonderfully pretty fairy tail but nothing more!
