About Tony being a Runningback just like AP.

You want to read something more into it because you are an **** who has his panties in a wad about something I said (happens often with trolls)

But you keep putting your foot in your mouth boy.

Troll,:lmao2: , now its name calling too, jeesh your abillity to control your emotions is truely limited huh, sunny, oh and this boy thing, thank you, no one has called me that in many many years, made my day, I read only what you put out for me to read, suggest you try to be more clear on your next post, otherwise people will read and reason on their own, I know that is an amazing new concept to someone like you............

I would like to ask Tony if he considers Danny White a Superstar .... ( though I do know that Danny had playoff wins)

This is why I take any Romo / White comparisons with a grain of salt. I know White wasn't Staubach, but he did get the Cowboys to the NFC championship game three years in a row, winning 5 playoff games in that time.

That was a very disappointing time, but when Romo can win some playoff games and advance in the postseason, then we can compare him to Danny White. Until then, I'd say Romo was more like Steve Beuerlein or Pelleur. Actually, scratch that, even Beuelein won a playoff game vs. the Bears in '91.

Personally I think they are both Superstars ..... but by the definition that Tony used neither is.

Romo has had the best stats in his first 3 years than anyone playing right now.

So has AP.

Neither have had success in the playoffs.

Tony is easier on AP because he is a runningback ..... he is harder on Romo because he is comparing him to Roger.

I would like to ask Tony if he considers Danny White a Superstar .... ( though I do know that Danny had playoff wins)

And you know this how?

What reason has Tony (or anybody for that matter) had to be easier or harder on AP? As far as I know, the only mistake that AP makes is going airborne sometimes when he shouldn't. (begging for injury)

You know....

At some point you'd think you would realize that the one common denominator in these keyboard war games is you.

Seriously, pretty much every thread that degenerates into this contains YOU as the common thread.

How do you not see that?

Has your internet tough guy act EVER succeeded in fulfilling whatever it is your goal is?

(assuming the goal is not to prop up your complete lack of self esteem of course)

Same reason Favre was. I mean there isn't a huge difference between Favre and Romo. Both are prolific gunslinger passers that throw INTs in bunches.

I get called "kid" by him all the time yet somehow I dont even call my year old a "kid". He is a big boy too:cool:

If you show your man-love for Romo or your devotion to this team in every post you make , you will get called a "boy, Kid, Troll, or Brady Quinn fan" in every post. No need to take it to the personal level as he often does when you disagree with Tony not descending from the Davidian line.

Your posts will get disceted and contorted for others to believe that you are not entitled to your opinion and should be exiled for your heresy.

Its one thing to defend your guy but completely another to blast others consistently for their opinions.

Keep posting playa.. :star:

Umm, Romo's arm is a hell of a lot stronger than Pennington.

Hell, even blew one by Crayton in the Giants game before Crayton could even raise his arms to catch it. It may not be as strong as Brett's (not many are), but has by no means a weak arm.

Move along please.

You'll get a better Dutch Rudder from Favre, is where you're going with this.

But even if Romo has another 300-yard game like he did in the season-opening win over Tampa Bay, it likely won't silence critics. One of them, Cowboys legend Tony Dorsett, questioned Tuesday why Romo got so big so fast.

“I don't know why on God's Earth Tony Romo has been anointed a superstar in the National Football League,” Dorsett told Fox Sports Radio. “Tony is very young in his career. Not to say you can't be young in your career and be a superstar because you've got one up there in Minnesota in Adrian Peterson.

“But the thing is this: You have a guy who hasn't done much, and quarterbacks in the NFL, most of them go through this growing curve. He hasn't gone through that growing curve, but he was anointed this great player all of a sudden. Now he's having to live up to that. And obviously Tony has some deficiencies.

“But he's a good player who's still learning how to play in the NFL, and I think the media has given him too much credit for doing nothing. He hasn't done anything really in the NFL to deserve all the recognition and visibility he's gotten so far.”

Just trying to think of a QB we had that wasn't as good as Danny White. Maybe he's like Gary Hogeboom.

Actually there's probably no former Cowboys QB to compare him to, at least none since the mid 70's.

Romo is a superstar because he has thrown 2nd? most TDs than any other QB over the last three years.

That...and every QB for the Cowboys is a superstar, deservedly so or not.
