Yep. People seem to not understand Rico has the most potential out of the group. I don't really care how good he is now. The other three are carbon copies of an average TE. Keep two of them and work on Rico. We lose absolutely nothing by doing that. Rico has the potential to become a monster. If he doesn't, we still have the other two.

Yes, Seattle lost because they didn't run. You need 1 yard, you have a few tries. Now is not the time to be cute with playcalling. I think we all agree there's no guarantee they score on a run, but I think we can also agree it was the dumbest call to pass when, again, you only need 1 yard. It wasn't like it was 4th down.

The only tangible thing you have to go on is a pass, that pass, didn't work. That's why hindsight is 20/20, because it's based purely on what the end result was of one option. So, they run and fumble, or they have a false start, or Marshawn was stopped for a loss. I guess you're right that you can say they lost because they passed, but you can't say that had they run it they absolutely would have won.

I’ve never said it didn’t make more sense to run, just that nobody can unequivocally say had they run the would’ve won. If so, the tell me the winning numbers in the next lottery.

Yep. Pederson and the Eagles may be the 2nd coming of Belichick and NE, but that remains to be seen. The only absolute that can be said is that he and the Eagles won the SB last year, period. All the buttons he pushed last year that were successful may not be this year. Teams get on a roll within a season and that doesn't necessarily carry over to the following year. Look at Flacco and Baltimore.

Yup. Nature of a 16 game season with a 4 game (max) one and done playoff. Consistent winning is really the only testament and even then a team like the Patriots is constantly reinventing themselves and still loses regularly lol
